B. Tech. is basically based on practical, My stream is Computer science and engineering. Here Institute provide core subjects from the first year onwards. Like programming languages are being tought from First semester.

My Institute was started in 2013 so not a high number of batches have been passed but previous placements were the best. Every year our institute is growing and giving its best. It also provides internship.

Our institute has a lot of clubs like cultural board, sports club, programming club, robotics club etc. Cultural board handel all the cultural related clubs. Every year our institute organise a annual techno- cultural fest YUVAAN. Its a 3 day fest and the biggest fest of IIITGuwahati

Fee Structure is some what expensive for a middle class students. But being a institute of National Importance Education loan can be taken easily. Our fee is. 2,50,000/- per year excluding mees fee.

Our institute does not provide scholarships with his own but if any Government is offering scholarships to students then it helps us for that. Our institute alerts us for every new of good schemes that are beneficial for us

As there are few girls take admission in engineering courses in the same way our institute is suffering from the lack of girls. Here Every one have their own views about politics but no one do fight between themselves for this.

Since our institute is a little far from the city so we all have to stay here. Hostel Rooms are well. Our Hostel has been started 2 year before so it is well furnished. We have sharing room. Single rooms has been allotted to 4th and 3rd year students and masters and PhDs

Right I am not connected to any of my seniors who has passed their b. tech. Our seniors are very friendly, they help us in every troubles. and share their experiences and tells us about opportunities.

It was my dream to do B. Tech but Want to do from a reputated college so I came to INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY GUWAHATI, which is an institute of National Importance. My Institute give admission on the basis of JEE main score via centralized counseling named JOSAA.

All the facilities are PhDs from well known institutes of India like IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Delhi etc. Faculty is friendly, helpful. Faculty gives tips to students for their well. Even students can approach them directly also.
