Relation with alumni should be strengthened. More extracurricular activities should be arranged and given more support in parallel to academics. Library facility in college is good. The college is more nature friendly and provides a good atmosphere.

Affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. Following the syllabus of APjKTU. And it is good. There are 2 internal exams for each papers and an external exam. Internal exams is conducted for 20 marks each and 10 marks for Assignment and other. Need 75% attendance and a minimum of 22. 5 out of 50 in internal exam for satisfying the eligibility to write external exam. External exam is conducted by university for 100 marks.

Placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Companies like carestack came to our college last year for placement. The college is providing placement training and grooming sessions for all students. And their is no internships provided by our college.

Fee structure For merit - Rs. 35000 For management quota- Rs 65000 For NRI quota- Rs. 100000 In addition to this, Rs. 7500 is the PTA fund, Rs. 7000 is one-time college fee. I found it feasible. But compared to other goverment aided colleges with fee structures of Rs. 8000 per year it is exepnsive.

For 3 top ranked students in KEAM for each departments is eligible for scholorship(fee waver). He or she has to pay only Rs. 1000 per year. Then E-Grants scholorship is available which gives Rs. 10000 per candidate eligible for that scholarship.

Frankly extra curricular activities are not well supported by the college. The students take initiatives to make it happen. There are four main student oeganisations(NSS, IEDC, IEEE and ISTE)+ 3 Department organisations( CECIA for Computer Science dept, ELEKTOR for Electrical dept and ASECTRON for Electronics dept). Events and workshop happen in this heads. Addition to that we have good lab facilities and good play grounds.

Hostel facilities for boys had been started a three year back. Hostel facilities for girls was available earlier than that. And at the time of admission, since hostels was available we stayed at nearby places were they provided paying guest facility. The expenses of college hostel is split equally among the inmates.

Alumni contacts are not well maintained. Even though some alumni members contributes. They helps the college to bring companies to campus for placement. They through their juniors inform about outside opportunities and updates.

Appeared for KEAM 2015. Rank List published and opted the colleges through KEAM official website. First allotments are out. I got admitted in College of Engineering Cherthala. Fee of Rs. 65000 paid. Then the second allotment came. This time I got admitted to College of Engineering Karunagappally. This time fees was Rs. 35000. Attended the interview and presented the document on the said date. Paid the the extra fees and got admission in this college.

Supportive in academic activities. Some of the faculty are interested in learning new topics and increase their knowledge. We gets our doubts cleared. Encourages students in academic activities. The lab staffs of our college is so helpful. They gives complete details of the experiments.
