Placement Orientated College

Ramapuram campus could have dress code removed. It's quite unnecessary. The parking is quite problematic and must be addressed. The placement is good. The campus can be given WiFi Canteen can have seats

One good thing is the course pattern changes every year. Thus almost no batch passes out with same subjects. this reduces the competition for a job among SRM students themselves. Every year batches come out with different skills

SRM has huge placement opportunities. This year almost 4000 jobs were offered and almost all top MNCs were involved. TCS Wipro IBM cognizant etc. And also top product based companies like Microsoft Amazon. Internship is provided by few companies for which the college allows. The stipend was around 20k

Our college is the second branch of SRM. Ramapuram campus has so many technical events hosted my several departments. like Texus by CSE department. which is coming on March 13 14. Also main campus has Milan which is a huge fest known all over India. There is huge participation from SRM and other colleges as well.

The fees is around 2 to 3 laks per year depending on the merit(1. 9laks) or management (3. 4 laks) quota. It is quite reasonable as compared to similar colleges. The management quota is quite expensive but if placements are important then we can go for this college.

I haven't heard of any such thing but the top performers of srmjee exam get 100 scholarship and also few were selected for student exchange program. The traveling and accommodation cost was supported by the college.

Labs are very good and computer labs are decent. There is not much scope for sports due to college stress but they do exist. There is very less ragging. Very good student diversity thus there is not much politics and discrimination going on.

Hostel is decent and cost around 90k for non ac and fairly high for ac. The rooms are sharing based. Pg would be a better option since the cost of living in Chennai is fairly low. thus, students can comfortably live around college with paying 7k rent per month per person and get house for themselves or with friends.

We didn't have such events yet and I guess there isn't much senior interaction. The network is not much interactive and we never got to meet any seniors who passed out long back. Only noted alumni are known.

This college had wide variety of courses and has a good brand name. Considering other options this was better due to good placement record. It has better recognition and the place is quite friendly. It has security too.

Faculties are decent and teach what is required. There is plenty of room for self learning if you are interested. Faculties provide with good materials for learning which make exams easy and understandable
