Great 4 year college experience,stay away.

I wouldn't really recommend this college if your belong to a good social and economic background,most people here take admission here to stay away from their homes and live four years without any restriction.

I took admission to this university via AIEEE exam which since has been collaborated with IIT JEE, my national rank was ~90k and state rank around 3k, which wasn't great but i could have gotten in a very good university but decided to stay at my home town due to family reasons and decided to take admission in " guru jambheshwar university of science and technology" admission was done via AIEEE online counselling. I chose printing technology as it's an upcoming fuel and different from the sheep following who were choosing cse and it.

Our course was last revised in 1990's lol. There were some subjects based on processes which haven't been in use since 1990's so you can guess how efficient our curriculum was In first 2 years faculty mostly consisted of junior teachers who were basically mtech students, who couldn't string together a proper sentence in english. Permanent factually was decent but they hardly took their classes.

No internship or training s arranged by the university, you're on your on. They'll just provide you with training letters which you can use to get training from places you want to try your luck in.

Well for printing technology students there are decent opportunities, it's the only department in the university for which companies came for on campus placement.

There are many cultural groups in the university if you're interested. Youth fests, techno fests were organized which i always found very underwhelming.

Fee is moderate, around 50,000 for an year, ghar turns out to around 2 laks for a 4 year B.tech course,which isn't much. You can get many scholarships too.

Various scholarships are available for sc/st students, girls, children of government officials and children of non government officials too, before taking admission do ask about if you're eligible for any fee discount or scholarship.

Campus life is good if you can find people of your taste. If you're a girl life won't be easy here with frequent teasing. Most people in the university were of backward economic status, especially in printing department.

Hostel room were available for 2 to 4, spacious with almirah, fans, beds already installed. Getting a room wouldn't be a problem with a new massive hostel just getting completed.

I didn't interact with many seniors, most were not very pleasing with their talks and behaviour. If you found people of your taste then you'll be fine.

Labs were thrice in the weekend for 3 hours each, with around 16 labs in a semester. In my department machines were almost always broken,half the time teachers didn't attend. We am structure,70 marks major theory, 30 marks for minors which were organized
