Remarks
Everything is good. Food also has been improved to a great extent over the 3 years I was there. Faculty is helpful and encouraging. If you do something great, you are sure to be rewarded in some of the other ways. I’d always been a class topper that enabled me to get a fully paid scholarship. Infrastructure is great. The library is updated on a regular basis.
Course Curriculum Overview
Every year the electives change. We get module descriptors at the start of the year and based on that the entire year assignments and exams are conducted. Exams are more application based and make the student think and apply the theory in real-life situations. Assignments are more research-based where we get to use our analytical and understanding skills. Professors are highly trained to teach each student in a unique way thus highlighting each of their skills.
Placement Experience
They do offer placements and internship. But I personally got one myself. They have options for HR, finance, operations, event management and much more. We also have the opportunity to get ‘Live projects’ during the years, which helps enhance our CV’s.
College Events
We have numerous clubs and each of them is responsible for some of the other event. I am in ELC, Which is a student-led enterprise. It promises to offer real-life corporate experience in college days itself. Believe me or not, I am someone who’d never understand or think of sales but during my days in ELC, I did do sales and surprisingly was quite good at it.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees are properly divided and feasible for paying. If someone needs help with a student loan, during the admission process they are helped and can avail it. Besides, scholarships which are about 50k helps reduce the fees to some extend. My parents were the ones to take care of the entire fee process.
Fees and Financial Aid
I had 94% in 12th so got a scholarship from UBS. Also during my tenure there, received a fully paid scholarship to Bulgaria for 4 months. Which helped me get independent and learn a lot of new things.
Campus Life
I have students from every part of India and some international students as well. No doubt campus life is something that we’d remember the rest of our life’s, the Treks on the beautiful green mountains, unplanned trips to Lonavla, secessions with professors were always amazing. We also have a gym, indoor games and cricket, basketball and football court.
Hostel Facilities
Cleaning is done every alternate day. We have to freedom to decorate our own rooms which helped me make my room feel like home. I had a single room so it was spacious. I personally got myself a fridge, microwave and inductions which was very helpful during my 3 years at UBS.
Alumni/Alumna
There isn’t any differentiation made between juniors and seniors. We all are friends and no one is treated superior to the other.
Admission
I did my high school from HR college and we had a seminar there regarding ‘getting a foreign degree in India itself’. The seminar by Founder Tarun Sir was quite impressive and made me curious to know more about this college. After which I contacted him and he assigned me to Rinki Ma’am. After which all the process started. The entire admission team was very friendly and helpful. Had to prepare for an entrance interview. Which was through Skype.
Faculty
Never met a faculty more helpful than these. Here, we also get lectures from the founder himself which helps guide us. Each faculty is available till 6 pm on campus and is always ready to help even after class with any doubts and confusions. Each of the subjects is uniquely designed where class activities and case study or movies are used to have more impactful teaching.
