Entrance Preview

I got 12K rank in EAMCET exam, At that time Gayatri is at 3rd place in ranking among the colleges in and around Vizag after Andhra university and GITAMS.

Internships Opportunities

College doesn't provide any internship programs. And don't have any stipend.

Placement Experience

Placements are good in this college. In 2009, TCS, Infosys, wipro , Virtusa, Yahoo, microsoft, Xenexa, infotech, L&T, Civil Constructions companies etc. Have visited the college. In total upto 60% of people got placed in campus interviews. TCS itself recruited 129 people.

College Events

Technical, Cultural and management festivals should be initiated only through the students. Managment doesnt take any initiative. Every department student conduct their own technical fests. Atleast one in two years.

Fees and Financial Aid

Don't have any stipend or scholarship programs. Apply for scholar ships on your own and keep on bugging the staff regarding it , till it gets approved. They are not going to inform regarding any scholarship.

Exam Structure

Exams were held as per the JNTU affiliated norms. Mid exams both online and written, Lab exams, Semister. In semister mid exams tally 20 marks , semister 80 marks. Now Gayatri colllege is an autonomous college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.

Placements are good in our college and the Teachers said that all the information when give career guidance how to attend our interviews in placements time and how to crack a exam percentage of student is based on 7.5 CGPA must be included and my plans after degree to get a job and improve my skills and go further. 3rd year onwards you can apply for internships and placements too I suppose . Almost all of the students get placed but I'm not sure of the average package for now . Some companies that crosses my mind is PayPal, fidelity etc.
