Some professors are quite professional We are not allowed to play during the college hours College canteen is very bad and the food provided is very expensive and unhigenic Students are not allowed to enter class during ex hours to revise

The syllabus has been changed recently twice. I was the part of syllabus revised 2007/08 and it was not at all impressive as the data was quite old and not updated. There are basically 2 internals and then one semester exam I. e. there are 2 semester exams per year

Our college doesn't provide internships and jobs are very fewer They don't have a very good training and placement office Loads of improvements needs to be done from time to time There are companies showing up but are very fewer

We only have one event-procyon Along with that we have sports and cultural event But for sports event we hardly have any sports event Also there are inter department events like seperate for mechanical,etc,it,comp

It is ver expensive and fees keep increasing ever damn year First year-56,000 Second year- 62,000 Third year-67,000 Final year-72,000 *Approximate figures The fees have been spiking over tremendously in recent years

Only for sc/st OBC students. General category students Don't get anything Also for selection process there are reservations which create a lot of problems for general category students Also government of goa provides scholarships for backwards students

Sports timings are after 5 so it gets very cumbersome They have a good gender ratio in other streams but in mechanical we didn't even have a single girl in the class so it was not a quiet good thing No active cultural societies and more focus is on academics as compared to others

No hostel facility provided yet because the college inducts only students from within the state so it becomes difficult for students even within goa staying far away to travel so long distances every single day

There is no alumni network as of now and talking to the seniors the experience was not quite good When I was trying to induct myself in the college I didn't get any help from seniors but then there were some people trying to help out

I got admission through gcet (goa common entrance exam) Because mechanical field has better job options There is no special exam for the entrance It has many seats in different streams like computers, electronic and communication,IT ETC

They are quite qualified and some of them are very professional and humble. As there are 2 sides of a coin,some professors are very helpful while some are least brothered. Most of them are pursuing their phd
