Remarks

The college should improve its status. The course curriculum is quite outdated, we are still busy in C and C++. No one is focusing on emerging programming languages like Python. The exam structure is quite simple. First we have mid semester exams of 30 marks then there comes the semester exams. The semester exam question paper consist of 8 questions in which we have to answer any 5. We people are not getting the knowledge. we are just passing the exams.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course curriculum is quite outdated, we are still busy in C and C++.No one is focusing on emerging programming languages like Python. We are subjeced to papers like Microprocessor, Linux and Computer network. The exam structure is quite simple and is divided into proper structures.First we have mid-semester exams of 30 marks then there comes the semester exams. The semester exam question paper consists of 8 questions in which we have to answer any 5.

Placement Experience

1

In respect to this part of college, the college is making quite improvement in accordance to the previous scenario. But still the result is not so good. The maximum package offered by company visiting our college was 4.5 lpa. They heir the students on contract basis.

College Events

2

Our college does not celebrate and organise much of events, but in my whole 3 years of engineering life, I have witnessed 2 annual fest and one tech fest. The tech fest happened in the year 2017 and the first annual fest happened in December 2016 and the next happened in October 2019.The fest is organised by the collaboration of faculty and students. The fest is just 2 days event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible but according to of the quality of education provided by the college, it seems expensive. The college facilities sucks. We are only paying a sum of Rs.25000/- each and every semester without any delay.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The college provides scholarship every student except the student who belong to the general category. The scholarship program called "E-Kalyan" provides a sum of Rs.38000/- to every student belonging to low category every year. There is no such programs to provide financial help to general students.

Campus Life

2

The number of boys students is few more in count as compared to the girls students. The mechanical branch is full of boys students with 2-3 girls. The computer science stream is full of girls students.Every religion and category person is studying in our college. Therefore a wide range of diversity is clearly visible.People with different economic status are also studying under the same roof.

Hostel Facilities

1

We don't have hostel facilities available at our college, therefore we are living in PG's which are situated near the University or even at a walking distance. The general pg charge is Rs.1400/- per month excluding the mess charges. Some students prefer to cook for themselves other seek mess facility, the mess charges vary between Rs.2000- Rs2600.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors were quite supportive and helpful but after they left college we lost contact with them.Everyone is busy in their own life. Some of my seniors are placed in good companies like TCS, Infosys and many more. They guide us to make better decisions and sometimes helps us in hour of need

Admission

I had just passed my board exams in the year 2016 and then I appeared for the JCECE exam in the month of May 2016 for admission in any engineering college situated in Jharkhand which is affiliated to JCECE.I secured a general rank of 3880, then I appeared for the counseling process that was held in Ranchi, According to my general rank I was offered this College.I booked the college in my first counseling process.Later I reached my college which is in Hazaribagh to further initiate the admission process.I have submitted my migration certificate, character certificate, high school certificate in the admission department.

Faculty

2

The college faculty is the worst part about the college. The faculty only tries to put burden on the student's shoulder. They provide us a number of assignments and projects through mail or by WhatsApp group. The assignment are to be maintained properly throughout the semesters. They even fail to manage proper records of any projects submitted earlier.

College is good in sense of presence around the corporate network. Efforts is required to cope up with the academic. BIT has been known for its extend of academia. Campus is lush green but in summers water scarcity may be faced.

People who have positive experiences tend to pat themselves on the back for choosing wisely and getting their money's worth. But people who haven't had those positive experiences tend to want to put things right, and to "warn off" anyone thinking about making the same decision.

A negative aspect is that its not present in metro location and is mostly semi urban...So students do not get a lot of exposure and experience to big companies and miss on certain chances....A positive aspect is that this colleges leaves everything to students so students are made self dependent..

Remarks:

My overall experience in this college has been quite moderate till date. One of the biggest problems one will face is that the library, computer centre and the student activity centre are not operational 24/7 till date, Another problem is never ending construction work is quite nagging and the continuous motion of the heavy vehicles due to that construction throughout the campus makes the campus appear more or less like an under-construction site than a college. Good college, Equipped with moderate infrastructure, which is in a state of progress. Placements are good. Opportunities are available in different fields but you will have to grasp them without procrastination.
