Course Curriculum Overview

A good course structure with focus on industry required skills. Continuius labs and workshops to keep in line with the Industries. Each Semester has credits. Each subject has 1 surprise test, 1 quiz test, 2 internal examinations and 1 semester paper along with assignments. Student can opt for honours papers if interested.

Placement Experience

Placements are good for CS, IT and Core (Mechanical, Electrical) branches. Top IT and Consultancy companies, Manufacturing industries and local industries actively recruit students in their placement drives. college doesnt provide internship but supports off campus internships.

College Events

Perception is the annual technical fest in which all engineering colleges of the state participate actively. It ranges for over 3 days with nuremous technical events lined up one after the other. Xtasy is annual cultural fest which is one of the largest in the state. It spans over 3 days including cultural events, competitions, adventure activities and many more. Top performers from the country are invited as guests and teams from the state and nearby states actively participate to showcase their talent.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Per semester fees is around 15000 for regular course and around 30000 for self sustained courses and hostel and mess charge another 15000. As compared to other engineering colleges of the country, CET is highly feasible and is the top government college of the state.

Fees and Financial Aid

Medhabruti scholarship-10000 per year CET Merit Scholarship- 4900 per year Tution fee waiver for students with weak financial status with limited seats. Other scholarships are available based on governments criteria. Loan facilities are available in top banks for the college as it is a state government college.

Campus Life

Gender ratio is nearly 3:1 Regular workshops by the technical and cultural socities of the college. The technical clubs of the college are amongst the best in the state. SAE, Zairza, ASME, Energy Club have plethora of national achievements and are aspiring for more. Strict policies on any kind of discrimination

Hostel Facilities

I didnt opt for hostel. But hostel rooms are 3 sharing basisi with adequate facilities. Hostels have all basic amenities and are equipped with the necessary facilities. Hostel cost is around 6000 per semester and 10000 mess fees.

Alumni/Alumna

Diverse and rich alumni base with alumni in top positions of the market leaders. Alumni have constantly supported the student led activities and technical societies apart from their contribution directly to the college's development.

Admission

Admission through JEE(Joint Entrance Examination) or Odisha-JEE. 4 years courses admission through JEE and 3 year lateral entry courses through OJEE. Allotment based on preference and rank in entrance exam.

Faculty

Faculties are highly qualified and are alumnus of top colleges of the country. Eager to spread their learnings and help students learn and grow from industry point of view. Faculties are active and sensitive to student led projects and continuosly guide them. They encourage them to participate in various events that give hand-on experience to students.
