Chandigarh University

Overall we can see this is the best University in north zone as it gives many chance or options for placement and teaching techniques are also not that bad but the marking system is not that good personally I don't like it.

Course structure is good but marking is not that good as it depends upon topper how you will get your cgpa like if the topper secure 90 in a subject then the passing mark is 45 or less so if you don't want to fail you should secure at least 50 and it also decide your cgpa

Placements are very good in chandigarh University as we get lot of opportunities and options to seat in placements but the main thing is we should secure 7. 5 or more to seat in a good placement and there is no internship by University after 1st year. We have to do internship after 2nd year by our own

There are many events celebrated in our college. Lot of fests and cultural event. I think I have seen 40% of Bollywood actor and actress and Punjabi singers in 1 year?. AIU cultural fest also held here the north zone. We are also winner of consecutively 3year.

Fee structure is not that expensive as Amity or KiiT as in cse we have to pay only 79000 per sem and hostel fee of 84000 per annum. Total for 4years it will cost about 1000000 including personal expenses (mine i guess)

Chandigarh University has loan facility as well as scholarship facility on the basis of sports achievement, cgpa, 12th board exam marks. You have to secure above 80% to avail scholarship and to maintain it you should secure above 8cgpa. On the basis of CU entrance test there is also scholarship.

There are many laps and workshop in chandigarh University like we also have robotics lab, Microsoft lab, many computer labs. there is no discrimination about sex, religion, race or economical status. All teacher treat equally to every student.

Hostels are very good as it includes gym, mess food and rooms are neat and clean. we have 2seater, 3seater, 4 seater, 5seat. we also have many canteen in our hostel campus. If you want to stay outside it will also cost 7000 per month in average including food.

Chandigarh University arrange interaction session with alumni and seniors who get placed in placements. As the senior students give tips about how to prepare for exam or placements etc. Which help a lot to juniors.

As from child I was very fond towards computer and it's application and I want to be a ethical hacker which need a good knowledge of coding so I choose CSE over all. I get to know about chandigarh University from a senior so I applied in their website and through my marks in boards I was selected.

Maximum faculty are experienced and good in teaching and also take care of students. But some teachers are new to this field. But overall it's good with faculty and very supportive. They were always there to help us.
