Remarks

College management is not helpful to students. They make us feel like we are in a goverenment firm where all works are done according to teacher.

Entrance Preview

I got my admission on the basis of +2 marks. Basically it was a college level counselling and i got through on the basis of marks i scored in +2 exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course is basically focusing more on theory rather than practical as an engineering student i do prefer to get more and more practical classes but unfortunatly it is not.

Internships Opportunities

Yeah something i can cheer about now. It was a great experience while having my intern in Doordarshan Patna. Here i feel something special about engineering. While it was not a paid internship but it almost get me a feeling of be a true engineer.

Placement Experience

1.5

Placements offered from college are in TCS mainly as far as an MNC company is concerned other than this only BPO type companies had a visit here.

College Events

1.5

Techfest is the only college festival in terms of knowledge and science. College cultural programs happens once in a year but the managements sucks while aggranging the sports events or other.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah students are awarded with scholarship from their respective states but college doesnt provide any.

Campus Life

2

Campus life was amazing but the gender ratio is an issue. Also there is a lot of diversity as people from different states came here to study. Extracurricular are quite down. Computer labs are okay but others labs like electronics, electrical, signals, mechanical. Sports functions are limited. Robotics is the only highlight during techfest.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostels are quite good but not as per expectation. Hostel fees has been incresed many times and it is unaffordable for most of the students. Mess food is good but not best. Hostels rooms are good and in conditions but the management should think to incres

Alumni/Alumna

Cant say much about Alumni but seniors were very interesting and helpful.

Faculty

2.5

Faculties are good but not best. Also the course steucture is too boring to adjust in engineering. College should focus more on practicals.

Placement Experience:

The placements records are good with substantial growth in the recent years. Students become eligible to apply for campus placements from 7th semester. Highest package from on campus placement was 34lpa this year and average of 14lpa was observed. About 65-70% placement has been recorded this year. Most of the students here target for the placements, and some for post graduation or businesses

Placement Experience:

You can get to sit in the placements after your 6th sem if you have a good CGPA along with great skills you have a good chance to get into a company. The companies that have come so far were mostly the mass recruiters such as TCS,ACCENTURE etc. Only 20% of the student got placed after the end of the 7th semester maybe the percentage can get much higher after they enter into their last semester.

The placement at SDBC are decent with a strong emphasis on IT , Tech and MBA related job roles but like many other colleges the success of placement can vary by branch. The placement cell is protective in preparing students for the job market and work to provide exposure . The highest package is 45 lakh

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in my college nearly 73.8% are getting placed as per last year. I wanted to get placed before completing my degree. Im really trying hard to achieve my goals before graduating. We have a good placement cell team whose are constantly helping us and they are the bridge between many companies out there and us. The highest package is 46.7LPA and 6.5 is the lowest package I guess. Big companies like Accenture, Meesho, Qualcomm and many others visit our college and give jobs and internships to students. Generally from 3-1 students are eligible for long term internships and PPO's.

The best thing about the colleges their placement they provide a very good placement opportunity to the student who study a little hard they have a dedicated placement cell and regular tnp classes means staying and placement classes for the students which helps in their placement opportunities so many companies come to there campuses and have a mass recruitment less such like cap Gemini Amazon TCS HCL they have average package of 4.5 lakh and last year the maximum package was highest package was 80 lpa.
