Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Our curriculum was updated as per the standards prescribed by the AICTE. The course was pretty updated and covered a wide variety of topics like business economics, finance, behavioral science, etc. We learned a lot from the course and it made us capable enough to take up leadership roles in leading MNCs. The syllabus helped us to stay updated with market trends and famous case-studies.

Placement Experience

4.5

Our college has a pretty decent placement record because of the corporate connections they have. Companies like Amazon.com, Axis Bank, Blackrock, CapGemini, Coca-Cola, Decathlon, Federal Bank, HDFC Bank, visit our campus majorly for the placement drive, but not limited to it. Our placement cell also collaborates with these institutions for industry visits and internships and guest lectures. The general range of the salary packages offered lies in between 5-8 LPA, which is pretty decent for an entry-level job.

College Events

4.5

Major events celebrated in TIMSR includes Management Development Programmes, different International/ National Conference, Business Summit, International Associations & Events, and annual fests. Numerous festive celebrations are also celebrated pretty joyfully. Our freshers' party was pretty lit and eventful.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My annual fee was around INR 4.8 lacs which was way above the standard rate. My parents had to drain all of their savings in order to pay my PGDM course fee. In total, I paid around 9.6 lacs for the two-year program. Though there are fee relaxation offers also available for the needy students, but I still feel the fee could have been less.

Campus Life

4

Campus Life was pretty happening, especially with a blend of academic brilliance and an overall socially active environment, apt for learning. We learned a lot, all the while maintaining a close relationship with our faculty and learning the art of networking. We got to see the cultural performances mainly during the freshers parsty or annual fest. Overall, the campus crowd was pretty accommodating.

Alumni/Alumna

Konnect is the annual alumni meet, organized in order to strengthen the bond between the students and alumni. Alumni of our college are spread across different verticals and bring companies for placements and provide their assistance in organizing corporate visits.

Admission

Admissions are granted on the basis of various factors. Different weightage is allocated to different parameters of the selection process, like Group Discussion, PI, entrance exam scores, the overall academic record of the student, participation in extracurricular activities, etc. I applied with my CMAT scores and then I was granted admission after fulfilling all of these above-mentioned parameters. Overall, the entire admission process was pretty exhausting.

The placement opportunity is great, but you have to maintain a good grade with zero backlogs. The campus placement cell offers multiple opportunities, but mostly students from the Engineering department got the highest LPA rather than other specialisations.

Placements are good, during our batch it was pretty low because of the recession and other economic parameters. In MBA mostly the companies come for marketing jobs so mostly the jobs offered was sales, but as the college has became university i think every process has been changed and could result in good placement.

Placement Experience:

1) students become eligible for placements just after they complete their second semester examinations 2) only local companies visited to our colleges such as per Pooja, weblink services etc which were very small scale local organisations offering very poor packages to the students 3) the average package that my batch got was 2.lakhs per annum and the highest was 6 lpa where before admission the college claimed the average packages to be 6lpa and Highest to be above 10lpa 4) the percentage of students getting placed is not more than 10-15% 5)my plans after getting the degree is to look for better companies outside my college because my college hasn't been helpful in terms of placements in any manner .

Remarks:

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.
