Entrance Preview

I gave the MH-CET in order to get admission into TIMSR for Operations and Supply Chain. Other valid exams are MAT and CAT, but a majority of the students do come through CET itself. Infact my CET exam was conducted in the same college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes the institute is good, with good professors and ample study material. At the end of the day, success depends on individual efforts. There will be many industry experts and guest lectures to support your study. Overall, you will be happy with the entire course.

Internships Opportunities

Yes definately, multiple types of internship are available. mostly students will opt for summer internship since this time is specially allotted for the project and there are no lectures held. Others will also go for small term winter internships.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni networks are active and still in touch even after passing out, I am invited to social events, we are also regularly in touch through placements offered to our college since the past few years.

Exam Structure

First year examinations are in-house and set by internal professors while the 2nd year papers are from the university, hence this needs special attention and preparation from the previous board papers. All material is readily and easily available in the college database.

Faculty

All professors are post graduates with at least an MBA degree. Some of them are in-house and can be available throughout the day while the others are part time and on available at allocated timings in person. Hence inquiries can be made accordingly.

Placement Experience:

After completimg 2sem students are eligible for campus placements. Mock GD and interviews are conducted in 2 sem whivh will be assessed and will affect the overall SGPA. There are multiple companies like JLL, CBRE, Turner and Townsend, AWFIS, C&W, SPCL,GR Infra, GMR, Rider Levett Bucknail, Godrej, ICICI Bank, JWIL, Knight Frank, Savills, Vishwaraj etc. Around 98% of the students were placed from the campus interview. Profiles were for project management. Highest package was 28 LPA by Rider Levett Bucknail.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students will be eligible for placements The placement criteria for placements is having 6.0 or above pointer in attempted semesters and they have to keep that grade up to the end of the course. The highest package was 30 lakh for Dubai bases company related to Real Estate and minimum Package was 3.75 lac for the freshers in Construction Project Management course. 40% of students get placed while 20% opted out and the rest of the students are still getting placement opportunities from the institute.

The surroundings of our college are very interesting, there are guest lectures, workshops. Also, Fresher parties and all of the other events make life at our college very enjoyable. PGDM Finance - TIMSR

Applicants must appear for the state entrance exam ie the CET exam to be eligible for the course at TIMSR. Along with this, the applicant must score 50% aggregate marks in the graduation degree. The cutoff for the 2018 batch was 50%. Once you qualify for this, the shortlist is released and applicants must appear for the GD and PI rounds. Admissions are granted on the basis of various factors. Different weightage is allocated to different parameters of the selection process, like Group Discussion, PI, entrance exam scores, the overall academic record of the student, participation in extracurricular activities, etc. I applied with my CMAT scores and then I was granted admission after fulfilling all of these above-mentioned parameters.
