Remarks

Even in this digital age, almost all the works are done on paper. We have to stand in queue. 75 percent attendance is a must (though I managed most of them :-) ) There are just so many holidays as per government gazette, hurray! Exams are fun.

Entrance Preview

I have an entrepreneurial mind so I wanted to join a college where I get less burden on my study part and parallely develop my idea.I took Patna scienec college entrance test and scored 82 out of 100 and secured a rank of 4 in the merit list. I chose physics honors along with mathematics and statistics. Interview was plain and easy for me, I had excellent academic record.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum is just awesome, putting exactly the right things into use. I learned mechanics, optics, electronics, relativity, thermodynamics along with good practical experience. Faculty are great and supportive, always ready to solve your problems about classes, syllabus, timing, exams, doubts, interns etc.

Internships Opportunities

There are no option for internship. You will have to apply outside yourself. Professors are really helpful, they assut you to land a great internship. Many of my frineds have gone to HBCSE, BARC, snbose-kolkata, science congress, Indian academy of sciences and at many other places for summer and winter interns.

Placement Experience

1.5

Placement are open for well performing students only. Various companies visit and offer jobs to them. Wipro, TCS are important among them. Wipro even helps for higher study while offering stipend at the same time. Average placement is around 3 lakhs.

College Events

2

College holds annual sports competition, in which entire college can participate and may further get chance to play at higher levels viz state and national.Various societies holds many activities and programs on different occasions where intra college participation takes place, while some other activities like open competition are held where anybody can participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

You will say I am joking when I will tell you about fees. Since, it is a state university college, fees are very very less. Only about 5k a year for a general bachelor degree. Vocational and other PG diploma courses fee vary from curse to course, from 10k to 25k a year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there are lot of scholarships run by government for students of reserved and quota category. Since I belongs to General category, I knew nothing in detail about them.

Campus Life

3

College is co-ed per as is case with our society, girls are less in number, about one fourth of boys. But this is not case in biology stream courses where plenty of girls study. College organise annual sports competition, where you can participate in many indoor and outdoor games, (almost all games). Well performing students are given benefit in academics. They also perform at state and national level on behalf of college.Numerous extra curricular activities takes place in various departments.Scienec related experiment are conducted with the help of national networks like anveshika and IAPT.There are many societies which conduct many activities - photographic, poetic, physical, chemical, life.Hostels parties are source if great fun. They keep taking place on fresher's welcome, birthdays, exams, farewells, vasant panchmi etc. Their is equality anf harmony among students of different sections, class, gender, race, caste, religion. Ragging is prohibited.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostels are superb. They can't be any better. Nice and clean rooms with chair, table, almirah, bulb and bed. Almost majority of the out stations students get admitted to hostels as per their merit. There are five hostels fo us, each named after great Indi

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni are great. Almost all of them are either in research or at very high government officials post. We always have a lot to learn from them about many aspects of life. Whenever we meet, it's a enthralling discussion about the possibilities and going beyond the limits.

Exam Structure

Exams were a pleasant experience. Once a year final exams are taken. Three term exams are taken for continued evaluation of students.Labs assistant staffs are very friendly and guide you on every minute step of apparatus setup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I mentioned regarding the Botany subject, I chose Botany because I thought it would be useful after college. I come from a farming family, and the subjects taught in college are generally designed to be very relevant to practical life. However, I learned that colleges tend to focus more on theoretical knowledge and less on practical application. They should give equal importance to practical learning as well.

In our college, studying about positive things is very good, sports are live, this is all a very good thing. In our college, boy and girl are given equal status. It is very good thing and there is a gullible tea about negatives. There is a little dress problem in our college, there is no dress in our college. In my college, I wish Trace was that all the children are same or not. It is a college child that should be recognized. If the child is seen on the net in our college, then his problem is there.
