The college management is good, but there are one or two areas where it can be improved to make it easier for students.

The course structure is designed in a way students are made to feel comfortable about it. They are not overburdened with stuff and courses are set up in a way that the as you move further into it the level of advancement and difficulty increases gradually. The final semester in its entirety is devoted to the final project.

I was not part of the placements during the year 2017 as I had opted to pursue my Master's Degree in the US.

Numerous events take place each year in college. Each year, multiple symposiums are conducted by each department and at the end of the year, a college fest that hosts all the department together is conducted. In between these events, certain other small events are conducted and students are also allowed to participate in events taking place at other universities.

The fee structure from my side was feasible. You can pay the fees online or in person at the head administration office placed on campus. There are no additional fees required to secure the admission to my course. The college does provide a 75% transparency in the fee breakdown.

I had not opted for any scholarship or education loan and hence did not avail it from the institution.

Campus life was enjoyable. A lot of technical workshops do take place and yearly sporting events. All competitions such as robotics, debates etc., take place during the symposiums that each department hosts and during the college fest at the end of the year.

An alumni network does exist but it does not work to the level it is expected to work at and could be made better if the right people work for it.

I have written my SRMJEE entrance exam and was given a rank for my mark in the test. Based upon the rank a time slot was given for my counselling at the main campus and there, I was able to choose campus and course. Ramapuram campus, being closer to my house was one of the main factors that led me to choose the campus. The counselling process was very simple, they would check each candidates cut-off percentage and if it was equal to or above their asking range you would be allowed admission. You are required to choose a campus and course. Once these are done you are taken to another room to hand over the necessary documents and I was asked to give a DD of 75.000 as my initial deposit and the rest could be paid in person at the campus chosen. My yearly fee at the time was 1,85,000.

The faculty of the university are well experienced in the courses they teach. The minimum requirement from each staff is to have a Post Graduate degree. Apart from that each of them has tons of experience in the related field and are able to impart the knowledge to students with ease and most of them are student-friendly and easy going.
