Remarks
I am very happy with my choice of opting for this college. I always wanted to do an MBA and acquire a managerial level job in a well established company. Mount Institute has been the bridge between my aspirations and fulfilment of my dreams. I would definitely recommend this college for students seeking higher education in the Bangalore region.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course structure is pretty robust and updated. The two yer PGDM is further divided into six trimesters including a compulsory internship after third semester. In addition to the core management subjects, we also studied some elective subjects like french, IT, Behaviour psychology, etc.
Placement Experience
Placements are top notch in our college. Companies from different domains would visit our campus and offer pretty good packages to the students. Some of the excelling students even had two three offers in their hand before completion of the course. Average package offered is good.
College Events
Many events are celebrated in our college throughout the year. Our college believes in celebration of life along with preparing for the future. Sports day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and so was the annual fest. The annual fest was the most fun since we got to see a variety of talents and cultural dance performances.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are only available for the meritorious students or students from a financially weaker background. Scholarships are awarded in the form of monetary benefits or fee relaxation, as per the guidelines prescribed by the state.
Admission
I applied online for the PGDM course with my MAT exam score. College creates a merit list based on a number of factors. I was further called for the group discussion round and PI round. My brother has done his masters from this college, that's why I chose this college.
Faculty
We shared a pretty good bond with our faculty members. They would share their personal experiences to make learning more fun. Like one of our finance professor had worked in a brokerage firm and shared his experiences about corporate valuation and how stock prices fluctuates. And how we can leverage these information for our personal benefit.
