Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was very appropriate in terms of the diverse topics it covered. Our syllabus included a wide range of subjects like Financial management, Organisational behavior, managerial economics, etc. The last two semesters were more oriented towards the specialization, whichever one would like to opt for on the basis of his/her interest base.
Placement Experience
Placements are just fine in our college. Big brands like Titan to American Express, DHL to TCS, Hindu to Bajaj Allianz, companies from different verticals visit our campus for recruiting students for different profiles. The diverse portfolio of MCIM is one of its differentiating factors responsible for attracting students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee for my two year program was very affordable. After getting admission you have to book the seat by paying INR 25,000. All in all college is pretty much budget friendly. Especially the return on investment is quite good because of the decent salary package we are getting during the on campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, some limited scholarship options are also available in our college. Students are awarded scholarships and fee relaxations on the basis of overall academic performance of the student. Students belonging from a reserved category can also apply for the scholarship.
Alumni/Alumna
Many of the college alumni are successfully associated with leading brands. College maintains a close relationship with its alumni and frequently invites them to alumni meets and share their success stories in order to motivate the students.
Admission
Admission was on the basis of the entrance exam. I prepared and applied for the XAT exam, but couldn't get into Xavier's group. So I applied to MCIM with my XAT scores. I received a call from the college for the counseling and further round of selection process.
Faculty
I was very much satisfied with the faculty members and the level of individual attention they gave us. They all had relevant degrees and a good amount of industry experience. Classroom teaching included a lot of practical examples infused with theoretical learning of different business models and corporate practices.
