Remarks
The overall view of the college is that SSN is a very good choice for an MBA.
Course Curriculum Overview
The courses are planned in such a way that the individuals are better exposed to the real world and also many real-life activities are conducted to facilitate a better understanding of the current organizational practices. This uniqueness helps individuals to become better professionals.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities for the field of marketing is well known in this college. Also, other specializations have good placement opportunities. The college encourages students for 2-month internships during mid-semester holidays.
College Events
DAKSHA is the main MBA event held at SSN where it organizes various events related to the fields of marketing, finance, operations, and HR management. The SSN institutions are well known for the INSTINCTS cultural fest which is common to all colleges belonging to the SSN family.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college fees is around Rs.500000 for 2 years including hostel facilities. The fee structure is handed over to the students on the day of admission. In addition to this, the exam fees is collected from students every semester. The fee seems to be a little expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have not availed for any educational loan. But in case it is required then there are necessary arrangements made from the college with respect to the same.
Campus Life
Campus life at SSN is very attractive and enjoyable. There is no gender diversity at SSN and also the gender ratio almost seems equal. Extracurricular activities are given more importance where the sports, R&D's and other events happen with the greater vigil.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are relatively good. There are single rooms only for PG candidates. There is availability for AC rooms on-demand with the payment of monthly electric bills. The hostel food is good. The ambiance surrounding the hostel is very attractive.
Alumni/Alumna
College seniors are very interactive and knowledge sharing. They helped us initially in getting to know better about the college.
Admission
SSN has a reputed brand name for MBA which made me choose this college. The infrastructure and ambiance of the college are highly attractive. The preliminary requirement for admission into an MBA at SSN is the TANCET exam after which common counseling is held. The other alternative is through CAT exams for which the selection process is different.
Faculty
The faculty of this institution is the most qualified according to my opinion (Most of them are from IIM's and IIT's). The way of handling classes is entirely different from other institutions. The students are driven to think beyond the course contents.
