Entrance Preview

SRMEEE -123 I have shortlisted this college after reading many reviews from different magazine like carrier 360, outlook,indiatoday etc admission processes was through counselling and it was very much simple.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was world class .4 years of course was divided into 8 semester. Each semester having credit Base system .We had 2 surprise test,2 cycle test,one model exam ( pre- final) and 1 semester exam. Total marks was decided on Base of internal marks (70%) and external (30%).

Internships Opportunities

There were many companies visited my college and and stipend offered by them was 15000/-. Companies were ford motors,ABB,Tamilnadu national power limited,vedanta,aditya birla group pvt.ltd.

Placement Experience

All of us were placed and company were wipro, tcs ,infosys ,HP, cognigent, capgimini ,vedanta ,tata motors, google, genral electronic, ford motor, FLD smith, Petrofec and many more. Average package offered was 3.5 LPA.

College Events

There were so many events celebration was there like.Aarush,corona,Milan,michanica, yamjam,and many more. All events are very well known and famous around Tamilnadu and participation was in such number that we have bring external forces to control and accommodate them.

Fees and Financial Aid

There were more than 5 type of scholarship was there. There were scholarship for poor students, also scholarship were available for top 10 candidate for each branch . Scholarship for students who secure ranks in their higher secondary.

Placement Experience:

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
