Remarks
This is one of the best college in the South India and is the best in South Tamil Nadu. This is an autonomous college and the quality of education is superb. The only thing negative about this college is that there are so many rules and regulations.
Course Curriculum Overview
Courses are up to date and External Exams are conducted at the end of each semester and 3 Internal exams for each semesters. Internals add up to 40% of total marks and the rest 60% is from External exam. Attendance is also considered for marks.
Placement Experience
No internship. But, job opportunities are good. Many software companies recruit students around the month of November, December and core companies recruit students around January, February month. Placement is good so far.
College Events
Legacy, an inter-college cultural event. Fiesta, an intra-college cultural event, Symposiums are held every year. Each department conducts a symposium, workshops and other training programs every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is moderate. Government scholarships are provided for the students who came by government quota and the college also provides scholarships for students who secure good marks in the exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
Merit scholarships are provided for students scoring good marks. Government scholarships are provided to students who got admission in this college by government quota through Engineering counselling.
Campus Life
Labs are excellent. This college focuses on practical work rather than theortical work. Labs are in par with excellence. Students are encouraged to participate in sports by giving incentives to students who achieve great feats.
Alumni/Alumna
They are helpful. Every year there's an alumni meet conducted and there's a special network for alumni maintained by the college. There's a networking site where alumni Can talk with any alumni of this college.
Admission
I got admission by Government Quota. My 12th standard marks were considered in Engineering counselling and I got this college for my marks. Some students write entrance exams and they got admission in this college.
Faculty
They are good and are involved in research works too. They are skilled in their domain and are also regularly studying to be updated in their domain knowledge. They are helpful and are capable of solving doubts.
