If you are looking for a professional course like MBA, BBA or something I would suggest you not to go for University of Lucknow IMS

The course is totally theoretical with no industry visits, internship or anything. The exams are totally based on what you've learned from the book, last year's papers, etc Marks are based on the length of the answer. Internals are on your goodwill in the class and the division is as follows 70 - external 10 - assignment 5 - attendance 15 - mid sem

Don't even think of getting placed from here the highest this year for undergraduate students was 15000 per month and the average was 10000 per month. Rarely 3-5 companies come here and if by chance you crack the interview and get selected then you cannot go for another interview or reject the job offer otherwise you will be banned from the future interview process.

Their are cultural teams and departments for various fields like Cricket Fine arts Dramatics Literary Dance Music Band etc Which mostly do not work or if they do they work for 1 fest that is antragini (IIT-Kanpur) fest We do celebrate teacher's day at IMS For which students give 200-250 rs and do nothing Their is now a cultural fest called kaleidoscope which has politics to the heights of it but yes that is one fest we have.

The fee structure was okay but since it is a self-financed course you cannot expect a very low fees But there is an option for scholarships for students whose parents have private jobs The fees is paid semester wise and it is paid online through a portal of LU.

Do not expect a good gentry and college life at Lucknow university new campus We do not have a cafeteria at IMS We have parking which is paid for no reason cause even if your vehicle is cut into half no one cares We have free wifi which gives 36MB per day We do not have an auditorium Girls can't wear what they want the cause of the very obvious reasons But yes other than that we have a good campus

Yes seniors are very helpful, I am helpful I am helping so many people telling them the actuals of the College. The seniors provide notes, last year's papers, books etc They sometimes also teach and tell us what all is important. If you get good seniors they will give you a Freshers too (you will have to pay obviously) But I don't think you can find any LUIMS recent senior at a good position from campus placement cause we don't have them here.

I gave the entrance test I don't remember my marks then I was called on the basis of a mimerit list and then there was a counseling process where we had to give the majoring stream And pay the fees to get the offer letter. Then we were given a date to join.

Most of the assigned faculty is good but some of them don't even show up for half of the semester. The faculty no doubt is well versed and will teach you good in some cases. But the self study is the key here, you cannot rely on the college for your marks.
