Remarks
Fees is cheap so everyone can afford it. But they need more sports equipments and renovate the college as it looks a bit old and bathrooms are really small and lacks the facility like mirror in them.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose English Literature, Geography and Economics as my subject. It is a three year course. They have 2 papers for each subject at the end of every year. In the first year you also have to give compulsory exam for Computer, environment, general english and general hindi.
Placement Experience
No in my course they didn't had any placement programme. College does not provide any internship. College should stary some technical courses as of right now it do not have any technical courses. Due to lack of these courses they don't have placement programms.
College Events
they have some sports event each year and annual programms which give you the opportunity to shine in acting and sports. Also they have few motivation programms and guide you through your exams. My friend also participated in acting classes and he is now trying to become an actor.
Fee Structure And Facilities
No the fees is not expensive at all and anyone can afford this college. It has a very low fees structure as it is a Govt. funded college. Fees is the most important thing you must consider. So it is a relief to many poor familes also.
Fees and Financial Aid
College does provide scholarship programms for sc, st, obc students. It also provides scholarship for unreserved category students who got more than 60 percent marks in the 12th standard but they have to get afleast 60% marks every year or the scholarship will stop.
Campus Life
They have sports classes for cricket, basketball, vollyball, badminton, running, long jump, high jump etc. but these classes are not compulsory you can choose to skip them or take them. they also have acting classes.
Hostel Facilities
No i did not opted for hostel but i know through some friends that hostel facility is good but they need more hostels because many students want to go in the hostel but the hostel does not have that much room.
Alumni/Alumna
yes, the old students are running whatsapp groups to guide the new students through any problem they face in the college. These groups had been really helpful to me in my time. I once had a few questions about the syllabus but they helped me a lot.
Admission
First i filled an online MGSU university regular form from my computer. I selected Dungar College Bikaner as my choice of college. A few days later college announced its merit list so I went there to check it and I got selected. So i paid my college fees and that was it. I became a student of Govt. Dungar College, Bikaner.
Faculty
faculty somewhere lies between very good to average as some are really good and some are like average. Faculty of this college help you to get your graduation and help you to become a good person also as they will give you life lessons as well.
