My College review

Positive thing is that the faculty of my department (CS) is quite supportive and helpful. They help you pretty much in everything. But some of the college's higher faculty is quite rude and they don't really help you and can cause you some serious problems.

The course comes under the savitrivai phule Pune university so it is good. But I feel that the course is somewhat outdated and could definitely be improved by introducing some more new concepts atleast in the field of computer science

The college does not provide internships. You need to find internships on your own. The training and placement cell of the computer department is good and if you know the concepts well enough then you can easily find a job as there are lot of campus placement drives.

There is a technical event called cynosure which is conducted in the month of January every year. Along with this there is also an event called as cresta which is like an annual gathering for all students of the college.

The fees are provided as per the university. The open category students have to pay fees around 1 lakh rupees every year for engineering whereas the minority students get a concession depending upon what category you belong

I don't really know about any scholarships or loan facilities that are offered by the college. There is an ebc(economy backward class) scheme by the government for students whose family income is less than 5 lakh rupees. A lot of students acail that schemes

There is a lot of partiality in this area. Mostly the students are chosen from the mechanical and civil department and the computer and entc department is mostly overlooked. I don't feel there are enough opportunities in terms of sports. For extra activities you are on your own COLLEGE does not provide any kind of help or assistance

No I don't particularly think any alumni has helped us. Though some of our seniors were quite helpful and they helped is regarding academic s and also for placement drives. But you are pretty much on your own

I did not have that great marks in my hsc exams. So I got the admission through the offline process by directly contacting the director of the institute. I should have waited for the merit list as I think I could have gotten admission through it as the cutoff is less of the college.

The faculty is good and they really do take a lot of effort in teaching. They do teach you properly and also make sure that you understand the concepts properly. Some facilities have also done their PhDs so it makes it easier for them to explain some concepts.
