Positive: 1.Good exposure and opportunities. 2. Best college life you can experience. Negative: 1. Quite expensive. 2. Not so good faculties. 3. Chennai is hot thou. 4. In necessary rules and regulations.

We have Flexible based system. We can choose course according to our own convenience like some subjects you can complete in odd or even SEM and might complete later. There's a choice to choose your own faculty also.

As per the placements is concerned CSE,IT and Software surely gets the placement. But in other departments less number as compared to this. Many companies visit every year no doubt for the placement like Amazon , Microsoft etc. Yes our college provide internship through their other sources or tie ups.Don't know much about it.

I'm glad that I joined SRM , there are many events now and then. I can say enjoying the best colg life. 2 fests One in September(AARUUSH) and other in March(MILAN). Into this every week there's an event both tech and non tech events. Hackathons , there are may teams and clubs who have won in other competiton outside the campus. I can say for every thing you do theirs an opportunity to showcase your talent like Singing, PR, EMCEE, Media team, Dance, Band, Arts, Gaming etc. And many clubs and teams are there who organise these events.

It's quite expensive. I too took loan for that. For and average 2.5lakhs is the fees. And rest your hostel or outside stay expenses. They also take examination fee as well like around 3 every semester. If you are in Aerospace engineering then 3.5 lakhs. Also if you want to join CSE dept and your rank is more than 10k then it's 3.5 lakhs for all the years.

I don't think any loan facility offered by college. I have taken loan from other bank. Yeah there's an scholarship for your ranks under 1000. I haven't availed any scholarship. Based upon your rankings you set fee waiver on the tuition fees.

There are good lab facilities in all the departments. Good infrastructure and we'll maintained lab. There's lot you can do join clubs or teams work under then. Sports quota is also there , NCC , etc. Gym, basketball, badminton court, etc games are also there Football , cricket etc. It's quite good.

Infrastructure is quite good and facilities are good as well but mess foods sucks I think it's everywhere an issue. Overall it was nice experience in my 1st year. 24*7 light , water. With good safety.

There's meet-up every semester in AARUUSH and MILAN our tech and Non fest. Alumni of out college comes and gives lectures. Guest lectures are also there thought-out the year. I don't think they are much helpful.

1. SRMJEE exam 2. Based on the SRMJEE Score Candidates are called out for the Admission based upon their rankings. 3. DD is submitted at the time of admission and document verification when the call based upon the rankings. 4. Other details/documents are submitted at the time of enrollment.

Some faculties are good , some try to co-operate. CSE , IT Software faculties are chill , Biotech, Genetic faculties are strict , and similar to Mechanical, automobile. Overall I can say they are Average.
