My views on MIET, MEERUT

The positive point is the academics and negative point is the skill development. College is more concerned about the percentage and not the placements. Placement is the really struggle for the students in this college.

The course goes simultaneous with AKTU and has lots of exams conducted to make you practice for the semester exams. Sessionals are conducted every Monday. You have to study really a lot to score good in internals.

Placements and job opportunities are not much. There are only few companies visiting the campus. Wipro and tcs are the permanent recruiters with the ctc of 3.3 lack per annum. You have to go off campus for a bigger package.

There are only few events celebrated in the college. Students from first year barely participate in any event so don't have any experience about that. Events related to robotics robo champ is organised regularly within the campus.

Fee structure is quite moderate for all kinds of students. The fee structure is of 1.25 lack per annum. The hostel is quite cheap comparatively. The whole fee structure is good as compared to other aktu colleges.

There is no special facility offered by the college. You are just made to study a lot. You can give as many exams possible. This is the only facility available in the college. Scholarships are barely offered to anyone.

Labs are well fine. There is no speciality but yes they are in fine condition. Total 32 labs are there, robotics is also provided to the eligible students. The sports available are basketball volleyball khokho and nothing else.

There are hardly alumni from the college. Only handful of students are in big it firms. Only few students are at good positions. There is no senior Junior relation in the college. Seniors do help sometimes.

AKTU counseling or the management quota is there there to get you in the college. Mainly aktu is the method chosen by the student. I would prefer aktu counselling. Direct abusive wouldn't involve any donations.

Half of the faculty is really experienced and some first year professors are good and some lack teaching ability makes is really a matter of concern. But overall the faculty is nice. Notes are provided time to time by faculty.
