The college has the best environment if one is getting a bachelor's degree and as such there is nothing bad which can be said about the college. The surrounding is very good. There are many lush green grounds and a walking path. The college offers free shuttle service for students to travel in different parts of the campus.

The university follows the latest curriculum and according to an average student it's good enough. The students have to appear for 3 internal examinations and a final university examination all of which are counted while calculating the total marks obtained in a particular subject in the academic semester.

No, the college doesn't offer internships. A student have to go outside the campus to work as interns. Alse placements are very good when we come to that part. The college offers on campus placement and maintains a reputation of 100% placements.

There are two fests which are organized by the college. Aaruush and Milan Aaruush is more of a technical fest which attracts students who like to be technically challenged. Milan on the other hand is more of a fun filled event which invites famous personalities and hosts concerts.

The fee structure depends on the rank the candidate has scored in the SRMJEEE exam which is the entrance examination of SRM its lest fee starts at 2,50,000 for B.tech Engineering students and it increases with the rank.

If the student scores a GPA of 9 or more he/she is offered a reduction of 50,000 in the annual tution fee but the student has to maintain that GPA in order to get the scholarship in order to get the scholarship in the next year.

The college provied an excellent environment when it comes to practical applications of scientific methods. The college has electronics chemical and biology labs, all of which are then divided into their particular fields.

The hostels are not that good and people tend to shift out after the 1st year. They are expensive and are not worth the money. There are Ac hostel, non Ac hostel, NRI Hostel each with a choice of 2 or 3 sharing.

One gets to know the seniors if he/she works in aaruush and they are pretty helpful. To reduce ragging the 1st year students has an individual building which they can call their own. Also the seniors are very helpful and there are no ragging cases.

One has to apply for the entrance examination on the official website of the university and then appear for entrance examination at the center of your choice, if one clears the exam he/she is called at the university for the admission process and selection of stream rankwise. The applying candidate should fulfill the 12th class marks quota for admission.

Faculty is strict and follows the monthly schedule very strictly.They also ask for assignments on particular interval and conducts surprise test. The faculty also changes every semester as the subjects change.
