My college review

Positive : The college greatly emphasizes on PBL , which is great for students in long run , along with organising VAP and UG fellowship program. Negative : The college is located in Khalapur , which is approx 20 kms from Panvel.

The college is affiliated with Mumbai University, so the course curriculum and exam structure is similar to that of other colleges under Mumbai University. Apart from that, college organises VAP (Value Addition Program) every semester for students from all departments, wherein they pick a technology from the market, invite the a trainer and organise a week long training workshop for students. Which is very beneficial in long run, as we get to learn about new technologies every semester. The college also organises UG fellowship program which is really beneficial.

College has a dedicated Placement and Training office, who handles placements and interships. Along with this, college also has an incubation cell for students who want to work on startups of their own.

College organises a lot of events, however I'll share some of them with you. ViDhisha - cultural event of our college. ViSports - annual sports meet of our college. Vinnovate - Technical festival of our college. Apart from there our college also organises events for all departments every week.

The fee structure is feasible. Besides, there are a lot of scholarships offered to students belonging to SC/ST/OBC. Also, EBC students get a huge concession from the fee. Also, there a lot of scholarships that are organised by local authorities and the college.

EBC students get more than 40% fee concession. The college also organises UG fellowship program which helps students visit university outside of the country, in order to visit and learn different technologies they're working on. College aids students financially in such programs.

The college really emphasizes on learning new technologies. The college has a sperate training and placement office and incubation center. Along with this there are dedicated labs for mechanical and civil departments which are fully equipped. Plus, robotics labs for students interested in working on the field. A lot of other fully equipped labs are present and open all the time for students.

Seniors are great!! They always keep us updated on what's actually happening in the market and what skills and technologies are trending in the market. What all technologies can boost our resume and help in the interviews as well.

The college accepts students both from MHCET examination and Offline admissions. If you clear the minimum criteria of the college via MHCET examination you directly get admission and can reserve your seat by visiting the institution. If you opt for offline addmission , you have to go through an interview wherein they will assess your academic performance and extra curricular activities. They will also assess the projects you've already worked on and what are your expectations from the college. Since the college emphasizes mainly on projects, they encourage you to work on new projects and research. I got my admission through the offline process.

Faculty in my department (Computer Enginnering) is great. They all are very knowledgeable and passionate about their particular field of expertise. Also, they always encourage us to keep up with whatever is trending in the market at the moment.
