Thiagarajar College Madurai review

Overall it is the best college in the city. The college is present in the heart of the city. Students can easily make transport facility. The college canteen can be improved well with new foods and dishes.the space for canteen can be extended.

The course curriculum is updated for every batch admitted in the college. It is very informative and improves the problem solving ability. The current curriculum enhances the thinking power and makes a student to think and use it for applications. The exam pattern is semester type.there are 6 semesters. For every semester there will be major paper , allied subjects and language paper.

Comparing to other colleges, thiagarajar college provides many jobs and placement for students. Students are trained with placement classes for facing interviews. Top industries and companies come to the college for placements.

There are many events conducted by the college management. Every department is conducted with department functions like symposium , students are actively participated. College day is conducted every year. For the students who stays in college is celebrated with hostel day.

The fees structure is very feasible. Poor students can easily pay the fees. For every semester we have to pay separate fees and for exams we have to pay separately.The fees is mostly below 4000 for an undergraduate student.

The college provides scholarship for poor students. Monthly students get around 500 rupees and it is used for studying purpose. There is a separate section for scholarships in the college office. Students can get clarification in the office.

College provides many extra curricular activities like sports ,yoga, music, NSS ,and NCC.every students must join in any one activities for all the semester.students are given extra credit points for the activities.

The alumini network is well maintained by the college management. Since the college is started very long back. Students who studied long back are called for the alumini meet. The aluminous record is well maintained by the respective departments.

First we have to fill the application form that we get from the college. We have to fill the requirments and it is to be submitted to tge college. After scitinising the application they will send you with a call letter and then there will be a personal interview. After that we are admitted in the college.

The faculty in the college are well experienced and they have cleared the national eligibility test. Students can ask any doubt related to subjects. Teachers in this college motivates students and encourage students.
