Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is great and helps a lot of students to learn more about the subject in a more practical way providing different types of labs and seperate timings of theoretical and practical classes. Provides flexible timings for exams.

Placement Experience

The college provides great opportunity for students to get a better job and gives many chances with great company and great exposure. I also got placed in 3 different companies through college and have internship plus job offer.

College Events

There are many fests held at our college which are celebrated with great passion among students and students also participate in the fests with great enthusiasm and energy. They are also awarded with certificates for motivating them.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are also very helpful and we can learn a lot from them.The college provides great opportunity for students to get a better job and gives many chances with great company and great exposure. I also got placed in 3 different companies with help of seniors.

Admission

Exam was held seperately and rank list was given and according to which we can select respective branches. If any student has low marks in that exam can pay some extra money for better branch. After that further process was carried on.

Faculty

The faculty is mainly from South side of the country and english is must for communicating with the faculty. They provide proper guidance as well as proper direction to follow. They take seperate doubt classes for better preparation

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
