Moderate engineering college in mangalore

One of the big negative thing about this college is its fine system. They fine a lot for all the things like hair style,pants, etc. Another thing is that you cant use mobile inside the classroom. Not even during break time. Principal will come sometimes and if you caught using mobile,its gone. So overall this college is moderate in my opinion. But its my personal opinion. For person to person it can change.

Course curriculum is good.not that much updated syllabus but still its okay, exam structure is module system, in each theory paper,5 modules would be there. Out of 100,one should score 35 to pass

Taking about placements,many of my seniors have already placed in well reputed companies like Infosys,tech mahindra etc. About internships,im not sure wether college is providing it or not. One thing is guaranteed, there is no stipend

So talking about events,there is not much like in odd sem we have surabhi which is a combined technical and cultural festival for the students and in even sem sambhram is celebrated which is also combined as mentioned above but no student from our college can participate.other than that programs like onam,ashtami etc are also celebrated

Fees structure is just okay but its not that too low, I got admission on management quota and i have to pay above 4 lacks which makes almost equal to 1 lack per year but people who got admission Via merit are paying less than what im paying

As far as i know,there are no such scholarships or loan facilities that are provided by the college. But there are scholarships like post metric from central government and the college is supportive in that case.

Major problem with the college is eventhough there are many talented students in various sports items,there is no ground. Yes literally. there is none. Labs are good. Components are a bit old but still in working condition.

For my entire first year, i was stayed in old hostel and it was terrible. They charge 66k for one year and its a total waste. The food is not absolutely good, sometimes cant even eat, now they have a new hostel but still i dnt think the food is any better

So talking about seniors, they are awesome, very good people. They take all the initiatives for all the departmental activities which makes it great, most of them are from mangalore itself. And they are very helpful.

I got In management quota, submitted all certificate,then i got admission. There should be 50% marks as avg in maths+chem+physics, just contact the administration office and they will provide the required information

Most of the faculties are very good, they are very friendly. Almost everyone have a helping mentality. And most importantly, they all are well educated like whatever may be your doubt,they can solve it for you
