Job opportunities are plenty for a bsc agriculture graduate. Government jobs in every state is available. The college provides internships in the form of RAWE in the final year I.e. the last two semesters.

Many festivals are celebrated with pomp and show. No discrimination on the basis of religion is done. Every festival is equally celebrated,be it onam, diwali,Eid or Christmas. The whole college participates in various programmes.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very much feasible for a middle class family. Being a state agriculture university , the college has a low fee structure which allows the students to study without any student loans.

Fees and Financial Aid

NTS scholarship is awarded by ICAR to the students who are studying in colleges outside their domicile. Various grants are also provided by the college to the students belonging to minority sections.

Regular sports meet is being conducted every year where different colleges come to participate. Intercollegiate arts festival is also an attractive platform for the students to showcase their talents.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is very strong. Usually most of the students are found to join the pg course after completing ug. Students even take up teaching job once their training is over and they become eligible.

Admission

through ICAR AIEEA exam, a merit list was prepared for students all over the country. Then students were allotted colleges according to their marks and preference. Students had to report to the college within the stipulated time and get admitted.

Faculty

4

Well qualified professors and degree holders who have great experience in teaching as well as in the research field. Very patient and eager to help the students to guide them properly towards their careers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Curriculum is very vast and i hope it is filtered. But the new admission hqs got a very new curriculym with more in person experience courses, which is better in my opinion. I do wish that some courses are changed or added to ours too including AI as it is of rising inpprtance in all sectors. The schedule is very hectic so it could be tweaked a bit to accomadate some relax time for the students.Other than that i belive that the scheduling and curriculum is good. The frequency of examination is okay...but the mark system is very complex. So good marks has to acheieved in almost all the semesters so that a good OGPA can be recueved.

Unscientific increase in the number of seats in the college is a problem here. There is no increase in the facilities required with the increase in seats. This creates problems as there is no adequate lab facilities and hostel facilities for the increased number.
