One of the best college to be in.

Our college and numerous postives 1. Student here are quite smart 2. Infrastructure is good 3. Placement and internship opportunities is good here. 4. Vast Alumni network which is 100 yrs old. 5. Labs are well equipped. 6. Good opportunity to excel on various extra curricular activities. Only negative remarks i can have about my college is there is lack of research sort of environment in which more and more students gets inspired to choose research and further studies instead of corporate jobs just after their graduation.

Course curriculum is quite nice. After first year itself students gets exposed to various fields of computer science, labs assignment are quite Good as well. But also there is a small problem with this curriculum which is every semester one has to study a university subject unrelated to computer science which I think is not Good. There are total 8 or 10 semster depending upon your course. Each semet is 6 month long and in each semester there are two exam happens. One is mid sem and other is End sem named respectively.

Placements and job opportunities are quite good in our college. Almost every one who appears in placement gets a job. Almost tech giant companies(Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Apple) visit our campus for placement. Roles and compensation offered by these companie are quite good for a person starting his/her career. Yes, our college do provide both corporate and research internship opportunities.Every person from our branch got internship opportunities during their final year. I have also done my internship and it was in Goldman sachs, banagalore , things and skilled learned during my internship is still quite helpful to me.

There are various events happen in our college popular among them are :- Spardha - it is a sports feaf in which various College from india competite amongs them. Technex - It is a tech fest in which a student from different gets a chance to show their creativity and knowledge by participating in various events organized under this event. Kashiyatra - it is a cultural events in which students gets a chance to showcase their talent in music, dance, drama, arts and crafts. Codefest - it is an event organised by our department in which people from different parts of world participate in various computer science events (like competitive coding event, perplexed, Appathon etc.) and gets a chance to explore various cs fields. There are numerous event which happens every year by every branch and club in our college.

Fee structure depends upon ones family income which you can see by visiting our website. Fee is feasible for most of the students here and also if it not for someone then are numerous scholarship provided by our institute.

There are numerous good scholarship/loan offered by our college like. Merit cum Scholarship(MCM), ,prime minister research fellowship, Chinese govt. Scholarship, indian govt. Scholarship for people whose family income.is lower than 5 lakh and one whose family income is below 2 lakh , SN BOSE research scholarship etc.

Here in our college there is proper opportunity to excel any fields one can do in his/her life. There are various clubs one for each type of extra curriculum activity in which students having similar interests learn among themselves by sharing there knowledge and experience.Also arrange skill training class among for new joiners in there club and holds various events to showcase their skills. Also labs in our college are proper equipped with enough number of equipment.

Everyone has to live in hostel in our college. Hostel infrastructure is Good but it varies from hostel to hostel. Food served in the hostel are quite nice here. What ever infrastructure is provided by the institute that is enough for one to live happily.

Our college alumni networks is over 100 years old along with that our Alumni are quite helpful as well generous to their fellow juniors which is like a child - parents sort of relations that our college student and alumni have among them.

On securing a good rank in jee advance exam hold by cbse board in 2015. Now, in ordee to appear in JEE advance examination one need to clear JEE mains examination also. After securing a good rank in JEE advance one need to go through jee counseling in which one need to fill up all colleges that take admission through jee along with the course which they want to study in their correct preference order. Once counseling got over i was lucky enough to get a chance to study Computer science in IIT BHU.

Faculty is one thing in which our college needs to improve a lot. Professor's are helpful but i think professor should be more knowledgeable and should encourage research culture in college which i think is not up to expection in our college.
