I would provide a neutral feedback of my college as I still haven't completed half of my course and end of the day for me the job and the college is just there to help me reach to these employers looking for recruits.

The course curriculum for CSE is quite good and extensive for the modern era and also the Placement Cell offer help to all those who seek it. Coming to the exam structure, it is repetitive and unnecessary.

Yes, the college helps the students which are interested in placements, it has a dedicated placement cell for it. Lots of companies come to the college for recruitment and all of them fulfill their quota.

There are two major college fests - Aarush and Milan. Aarush is a techno-management fest which is like a souped up version of a school science exhibition and Milan is the cultural fest, the kind with which you generally associate with college fest.

It is expensive because it is a private for profit organization. It starts with you paying them 10k for booking a seat at the counselling session which non-refundable and if you chose to study in the college then the money is deducted from the college fees which is 2.5L per year.

There is a great scholarship regarding the waiver of tution fees according to your SRMJEE rank, the better the rank the more percentage of tution fee waiver you get. Then there is a scholarship on the basis of XIIth marks.

There are lots of extracurricular clubs and activities in the college like the Music club, Fashion club, Dance club and then there are various teams working on Racing cars, Unmanned vehicles and drones.

I did not check on the alumni network, so I cannot confirm but from what I have heard the alumni network is just there as the number of students graduating each year is ever increasing each passing year.

I appeared for SRMJEE and then I got a rank, according to this rank I was invited for the counselling process for the course and stream selection at the college campus. There it was a 3-hour long process.

Some of the higher faculty and the HoDs of the different departments are highly educated and knowledgeable but the middle tier could be hit or miss as you might get a good teacher who knows what is to be taught. Lastly, the young teachers are mostly useless if I'm being polite.
