Remarks

It's a great college with a lot of facilities and opportunities to those who seek them. The college provided a good platform for anyone aiming to do something good in life. The infrastructure is well maintained as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course is good. The first year is similar for all streams so it has all minor subjects but after the second year things get pretty interesting because we get the more advanced and interesting courses in computers science.

Placement Experience

4

Amity offers 100% placements to all the students enrolled. They also get many good companies or in some terms the dream companies and they take a bunch of students every year from Amity. Our college is also active in providing us with internship opportunities with stipend to designers, coders, etc.

College Events

4

Many events are celebrated in our college like confluence - an annual industry meetup, Cyber Cup- a tech event for students from around Delhi with a coding passion as well knowledge, Ayf-amity youth fest also happens annually which is mainly focused in cultural society of our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is kinda expensive. For a btech student the fees is 1.75lakh per semester which rounds up to around 14 lakh for 4 years. But with this Amity also has a lot of facilities for students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Any student with a percentage of over 92% in 12th gets a 100% scholarship for one year which can be maintained by the student if he/she maintains a good cgpa. Any student with 89% above gets a 50% fee waiver for the first year and has the option of maintaining it by getting a nice cgpa.

Campus Life

5

There are a lot of extra curricular activities that Amity offers like debating clubs, writing clubs, tech clubs, etc. The labs are good and maintained perfectly. The sports are a delight in the college and the annual sangathan sports meetup us the highlight of the college.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes many of the alumni are still associated with Amity for young students who inspire and many get hired by Amity University itself. Senior students are good and pretty helpful but a little selfish so you have to do something in return for them as well.

Admission

I had a good percentage so I got into Amity through merit based system. I took admission in Btech(CS) and also had the option of changing it if I wanted to till first year. The admission process wanted a cumulative result of 85 and above to get admission into college. And I had that so I got into it easily.

Faculty

3.5

The faculties in Amity University are good. They all have had a good education experience and some of them are teachers from IIT and also abroad universities. The drawback is that some of the faculties here are only in it for the money so they don't pay much attention to students but that I guess is a case with all instituitions.

Remarks:

The infrastructure of our college is of top quality. Facilities like classrooms, Wi-Fi, labs, etc, available in our college are good. Facilities are easily available to students. The library is too good for anyone to sit and study for long hours. Teachers in our college are very helpful, and they are always available to help us. They plan the schedule in a very effective way. Many teachers are PhD holders. They have good knowledge of their subjects, both practical and theoretical. The course curriculum is relevant, and it mainly focuses on what industry demands.

Its good college to pursue your btech if you are not getting iits, nits or top eminent institutes. An overall devlopment occurs here. You have a tag of goverment college precisely an old goverment institute.
