Entrance Preview

SRMEEE- srm conducts its own entrance exam for intake to btech courses. I got 4000 rank in this exam. My score in aieee was 26k so all the colleges that I could get in this rank was not better than SRM. SRM is the best destination for students if they can't get into IITs and NITs.

Course Curriculum Overview

Most of the professors were very much dedicated to teach the students. My branch was ece and this department is considered as the best in SRM. Apart from branch related courses SRM gives option to students to select one of the three foreign languages available which are GERMAN, FRENCH and JAPANESE.

Internships Opportunities

There were few companies which came to provide internship to students. Few of them were TCS, l&t , Samsung. There was no stipend provided by most of the companies except a few like Merc. I did my training in NTPC and being a PSU I was not given any internship.

Placement Experience

Srm is best known for its placement opportunities and number of companies visiting campus to recruit students direct from college. All the top most IT companies visited and moat of the students were placed in the first 3 companies and later on almost 100+ companies visited and recruited students.

College Events

There are many cultural and technical events held in the college . Some of them are aarush, innovate, cynosure. Students from all major universities come to our college to participate in different events of the fests.

Fee Structure And Facilities

SRM is one of the most costliest colleges of our country. The fee for my batch was 1.5 lakhs per annum. And now the fee has increased and it is 2.25 lakhs per annum. The college is not easy on pockets of guardians. Banks do provide loans but it is not a easy process.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides free semester abroad program to top students from each branch. College also provides fee waiver to topper of state board exams.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
