Remarks
College is good with good faculty, only experienced guys. Others should be taken care of. Fees is high but since we are campus placed here it is okay, Fines here are very high so should be utmost care. It is a good place for you to showcase your talents.
Entrance Preview
I've attended the counselling through AIEEE where I've got 75000 rank. I've opted for mechanical engineering since the best branch there is Mechanical as it has got the best faculty.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is good but coming to the faculty, the experienced faculty is very good but there are only few of them. The others were horrible as we will know better than them.
Internships Opportunities
I've been went in two companies for the internship. one is BHEL in hyderabad without any stipend and infact we are the one who should pay and join there for intern, But in the final year, I've been to Easter Machine elements Pvt. Ltd. where Stipend is 5000 but we are treated there as daily labour.
Placement Experience
Placements and Job Opprtunities are good enough if you are a merit student and through all the interview. They say it as 100% placement but it is limited to only few people.
College Events
Fests in this college are better. There are Samyak and Surabhi, techincal and cultural festivals which are really good and can be enjoyed with friends. one negative thing about this is Girls and boys are made to sit seperately.
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven't got any scholarships or loans as I am a mediocre student.
Campus Life
Campus life here is good.Too many restrictions here as we should be in dress code, that is too bad as the corporate itself gives us better freedom in dress code compared to the faculty there. It is like even the security guy feels as HOD. gender ratio is better in other branches as we had only 14 girls and 430 boys in mechanical dept. Labs were the best here but recently they are removed and were not there for us in our final year. Competitions here are really good and is worth taking part in it.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are bad. Food is the thing that should be changed. It'll be helpless once we join hostel here.Rent is too high but we wont get what we ask for. I guess avg rent is 50,000 per annum. rating can be 1 out of 5.
Alumni/Alumna
There is little ragging which can be called Short description (SD). other than that the seniors are very supporting in almost everything i,e. fests, games, studies, etc.
