Remarks

Overall the college is good, need to work on its hospital and maintenance. Would be fun, If more fun activities were organized. The building needs painting. The washrooms need to be well furnished again.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course duration is 4.5 years, with 1 additional year of compulsory internship. The exam pattern is decided by the MCI, and the professional exam system is followed, rather than the semester system.

Placement Experience

3.5

For an MBBS graduate, there is no placement. One year internship is compulsory in the course. The stipend at government colleges in Madhya Pradesh is around RS. 10000-12000 (approximately). The stipend is provided by the state government and is same for all the government Medical Colleges in the state.

College Events

4

Most of the Indian festivals are regularly celebrated in the college. There is regular plantation, workshops, and fun activities. Annual fest, Corona is organized in the end of the year filled with tons of events and activities for all the students of every batch.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As per 2018, the fee was RS. 64,000 for first year and subsequently RS. 50,000 for upcoming years. From 2019 onwards the fees got increased to RS. 100,000 per year. The fee is feasible considering the course.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is post metric scholarship for reserved category students (ST/SC) where the whole of college fees and hostel fees is returned. This is a state government policy and has no relation with the college. Laptops are also provided to the reserved category students every year.

Campus Life

3.5

There is a cricket ground, football ground, library and e-library, table tennis, badminton courts (2), chess and caraom. All are average. The library is open 24*7, and is fully AC. Auditorium is also present.

Hostel Facilities

4

I haven't opted for hostel. I live outside the campus. Although, all the basic facilities are available in the hostel. 2 stay in a room during 1st year, subsequently everyone is allotted a single room.

Alumni/Alumna

In any medical college, seniors play a crucial role. They are really helpful, and teach you how to deal with stuff. Also help with the studies. All the batches live together and there's a lot of unity. Alumni are well linked with the present batches.

Admission

By qualifying NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) 2018, and getting registration on the Directorate of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh. Then through the state Quota, was allotted the college.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the first year subjects: Anatomy: Highly qualified faculty, strict. The HOD would retire soon though. Physiology: One Professor is highly enthusiastic about teaching. Rest are average. Biochemistry: Decent faculty, strict.

Course Curriculum Overview:

First of all the college faculty and management is very good they teach us each and every topic very easily in a understandable way. Their is also hospital postings to see real life patients and their problems. Their is such good way it is managed that I didn't feel any improvement yet. The exams are held accordingly to the given time table by university and exams are mix of easy, hard and brain storming questions.

Ive always wanted to be a doctor as my uncle is a doctor and ive lived with him for half of my life. Mbbs and especially internship here prepares a medical student for any challanges that he/she might face while being posted in his bond or in PG. Ive already mentioned about the frequency of examinations. As for area of improvements, they should also incorporate rural visits and train us for real life
