College review of SRM ncr campus

College is over all average. If someone wants to give remark about the college, it is good for good students as there are several number of opportunities in the main campus and it is also good for average students because mostly students are placed in mass recruitment process.

I have taken the Computer science branch and in my branch, Course Curriculum is purely based on modern industrial requirement.There are three internals and one external for theory subject.Paper pattern is based on the course syllabus taught in the classroom and we have to give some industrial relevant project.

Yes, the college provides placement opportunities and mostly students got placed in mass recruitment. College doesn't provide internship opportunities for 2nd 3rd year students. Some students in main campus got internship opportunities in 3rd year in software development profile and other domain ,Microsoft provides forty thousand and hotel stay for 2 months in internship.

There are three events celebrated in our college in the whole year.There is one cultural fest namely Rubaroo ,one technical fest namely Innovate and one Sports event namely Vazre. All three are national events and folks from other colleges participate in the cultural, technical and sports event. The top three rankers in each field got the set prize and remaining got participation certificate.

Fee structure is quite expensive. They charge 2 lakh per year plus ten thousand non refundable money which is one time payment known as registration fees. We also have to pay the semester fees each semester. It will cost around 9 lakh tuition fees for an engineering student.

Actually, the college provides only merit based scholarship which is for those students who get above 9.5 cgpa successively. There is no other scholarship for students excluding the category.College provides the loan facility from Punjab National bank at ten percent interest.

Extracurricular activities includes the cricket, football, badminton ,basketball, volleyball and many others are well prevailed in the college.Students who are good at these activities are provided opportunities to compete with other college students and the main college team also got opportunity to go in the international events of several Indian institute of technology.

In my opinion,alumni network is average they only teach the course Curriculum. They doesn't lay emphasis on the modern industrial requirement as per the placement cell. Senior students are very worst there is no seniority in their talks.All talks are non technical. In other words or nutshell ,aluminium network and senior students are not helpful.

I got admission in this college through the official entrance exam of SRM University including the counseling process of various branches. Top rankers got Computer science immediately and medium rankers got their desired branch after 2nd 3rd counseling.

I have taken the Computer Science branch and in my branch the faculties in the college are average. Actually, they have knowledge based on course Curriculum while they are unaware of the industrial project. Mark's in internal exam are given according to the written matter and 75% attendance is necessary for each subject to qualify.
