Entrance Preview

SRMJEE, I got a rank around 9000. With which I got my preferred stream-Computer Science. Srm has a good placement record.and has a good reputation.

Internships Opportunities

Srm itself does'nt provide internships. But alot of companies visits for internships like Infosys,Wipro, Amadeus for hiring interns. Stipend is about 10k-20k.

Placement Experience

SRM actually has a good placement record. If you are hard-working, then you will definitely get placed. Among the top companies are De.Shaw 14 lacs ,Amazon 12 lacs, SAP.LABS 9 lacs among many others. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro recruit in high numbers. (this year almost 6000 jobs were offered by these 4 companies).

College Events

A lot of events happen throughout the year. Many of them are departmental fests which are limited to college. But Bigger events like Aarush, Rubaroo, Innovate are national level fests and many colleges participates in them which provides healthy competition.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Tuition fees in 1 lac per semester which is a bit expensive. Than govt colleges but good private colleges have around the same fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are provided to the top 1000 rankers of SRMJEE or those have scored above 95% in their board exams. Scholarships rangs from 50% to 100% of tuition fee waiver.

Campus Life

University has a low gender ratio, about 500 females for 1000 males. But proper facilities exists for security of females. Colleges has diverse population, students from different religion are present. Campus has very good facility for recreational and extra curricular activities. Campus has an area 'Tech Park' where something creative happens almost every evening.

Our placements are as good as any college or university in India. Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, Deloitte, and any company which is into software comes at our campus for placements. Average stands at 8 lakhs but students of our campus has grabbed packages of 50 LPA as well.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Chose SRM University mainly because of its strong reputation in engineering, excellent infray,and placement opportunities.I has applied to a few other private universities like VIT Vellore and Manipal University.while I did get a confirmed admission from one,i felt SRM had a more vibrant campus life,better connectivity to Chennai City, and a strong alumni network. The Student Life at SRM IST

I am a dropper, I got 75k something rank but that year cutoff for the colleges in Delhi skyrocketed for general category like nothing before. So I didn't get any college in Delhi, took a drop and applied then here at this college and Amity University Noida. I cleared both bht I preferred this college over Amity University because of many reasons - fees, cultural activities, student crowd, placement.
