Remarks

Iitb is full of positivity in itself and has ample opportunities for a student to explore. It's an institute that guarantees your overall development with exposure to the world. It's open to the idea of each and every person. Most of India's start-ups are started by iitians. Negative would be some extra pressure that comes to be in the number one institute of the country and with that comes to some expectations from everyone around to perform well which all the students are not tough enough to face.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

IIT jam exam is totally based on the syllabus of bachelor. I had done my bachelor's in chemistry. So the major part was for the course itself. There are MCQs, MCQs, and NAT type questions in the examination.

Placement Experience

4.5

IIT Bombay has got world-class placement opportunities for students as it is India's number one college. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Facebook, etc. give package in crores per annum. Btech's have 100% placement opportunities here.

College Events

5

Some events celebrated in our college are tech-fest, mood indigo, Vaisakhi, Ganpati sthapana, alumni connect, international conferences, national education day, convocation, silver, golden, diamond jubilee, teacher's day celebration.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is different for different departments. Btech's usually have a higher fee structure. MSC's have a very decent fee structure, MTech and Ph.D. also have a decent fee structure. MTechs and PhDs. Stipends are given to MTech and Ph.D. students.

Fees and Financial Aid

There were multiple scholarships, loan facilities provided in the institute. Scholarships were provided on the basis of financial conditions and academic performance. The loan was also provided to financially broke people with almost no interest.

Campus Life

4

IIT Bombay is famous for its extracurricular activities. With world-class facilities on the campus having indoor and outdoor sports arena to play. Having gyms, swimming pools, dancing clubs, yoga club, weightlifting clubs, etc. There is a student activity center (sac) where all the events and clubs can function. Various clubs are abhinaya, e-cell, pixel, dramatics, dance, fashion, acting, and much more make students live the best time of their lives.

Hostel Facilities

4

I was staying in hostel 8 in the first year and hostel Hansa's house in the second year. Both the hostels were good with all the facilities, the mess was great, there were greasers in the bathroom, we had a sports section in the common rooms, television, etc. Infrastructure was not that good in hostel8 as it was one of the oldest hostels so it was also being deconstructed. Rest there were new hostels being built which are awesome.

Alumni/Alumna

I am currently working in a corporate company in Bangalore to which I got placed from IITB. I couldn't even believe that we have regular alumni meetups here. There are telegram, WhatsApp groups here which are very active. Aluminas share new jobs, events, suggestions, and questions here. There are people from the 1980's batch as well as interacting with 2019 batch students. Chhichhore a movie directed by its alumni Nitesh sir was watched together by IITB family with the director himself in a nearby hall. That sums up the alumni relation. Apart from that the juniors seniors relationship is also very strong here because there is no ragging in IITB initially, and hostels are the same so the bond becomes strong in IITB itself. We all are like a family.

Admission

Gave IIT jam entrance exam. It's a yearly based exam held in February. On the basis of rank, we get IISc or IIT's. I took coaching for the same-named chem academy which is in Delhi. I got air 21 in the IIT jam exam so was allocated IIT Bombay on the first list itself.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty in iit Bombay is world-class with a handful of experience and lots of knowledge. All of them have great research experience from universities abroad like Harvard, MIT, Stanford, etc. And the ability to teach is also superb.

Placement Experience:

After taking admission in the college, the placement drive is started for the student immediately from the second semester. All the information about which is sent to the class wise group and if the student is eligible, you can apply immediately after seeing your experience. The experience is very beautiful. You learn new things. You also understand how the interview round is conducted and what the eligibility is. Most of the companies that come to the college include renowned companies like Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, Deollite, etc., which hire students. The biggest package of Rs 7 crore per NM has been given so far from Sandeep University in the entire Nashik district.Which is a matter of great pride. Sandeep University is the only college where the largest job fair seminar in Maharashtra is attended. In which students from all over Maharashtra come and give live interviews to companies that have come to the college, give their region and announce hiring on the spot. Therefore, this college provides the greatest opportunity for students to meet all the renowned companies under one roof in one place. During the interview, the student's critical thinking skills and his/her inclination are shown rather than CGP and marks to determine whether he/she is eligible or not. In my experience, the college provides such strong education that at least four students are placed in companies every week. I am currently completing my graduation and will be starting my career immediately after that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been thoroughly impressed with the course curriculum for its relevance and comprehensive approach to both theory and practice. One major aspect that influenced my decision to choose this course was its emphasis on practical application and real-world problem solving. The curriculum integrates current industry trends and case studies, which immediately appealed to me because it offers not only theoretical knowledge but also valuable hands-on experiences. The structure of the curriculum prepares students well for real-world applications and further academic pursuits. For instance, the course modules are designed to build a strong foundational understanding while progressively introducing complex topics. This approach ensures that students are capable of tackling challenging scenarios in professional settings and are well-prepared for advanced research or academic opportunities. The practical assignments, group projects, and internships provide direct exposure to industry practices and enable us to apply what we learn in a realistic context. Despite these strengths, there is always room for improvement. The course curriculum could further benefit from increased interactive teaching methods, such as more frequent workshops and peer-to-peer learning sessions. Incorporating regular seminars by industry experts would also add practical insights. Additionally, the frequency and timing of exams sometimes feel overwhelming. Although the exam difficulty level is fair and encourages a deep understanding of the material, scheduling them away from major project deadlines could alleviate some unnecessary stress. Overall, I find the curriculum to be robust and well-rounded. With a few adjustments in teaching methods and assessment schedules, it has the potential to become even more effective in preparing students for both professional challenges and advanced academic endeavors. In summary, the course curriculum excels in providing a balanced educational.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The first few hours of the computer science course are very difficult. You have to understand everything. It is beneficial if you solve the programs in it repeatedly. When a teacher explains something clearly, it will be easier for the student to understand, and it will be easier if the exam is taken at least 4 times a year.
