Every institution has there on style and culture. Here I am totally satisfied with this institution. No other negative remarks. Experience the real MBA life. And one thing I have to mention here is in this institution they are try to train us as a top corporate officers not as a students. So those who join here for having fun and enjoying the college life then this is not the right place for you.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since Amrita is a Deemed University the curriculum is set up by the MBA department only. So the updation of new systems is speed. Also so many guest lectures, visiting faculties from top institutions also come here for taking classes.
Placement Experience
MBA is a 2yr programme. After 1yr every student must undergo 2 months internship which is student choice. About placement, more than 120 companies are visiting per year providing avg CTC of 6.7 LPA.
College Events
We MBA department alone have some kind of events but we are planing to conduct it in a mass level. Amrita is situated in Kerala so we definitely celebrate Onam. But we are not limiting in that we also celebrate Holy, Vinayaga Chathurthi, Christmas, etc
Fee Structure And Facilities
MBA education is little costly than others. There is not capitation fee. Fee structure is more or less feasible for middle class family. Also so many banks are ready to provide education loan for MBA education.
Fees and Financial Aid
For some kind of low income families the institution is ready to provide some kind of scholarships and all. Also institution will help for availing loan facility from banks. Also Amrita is a top private university so bank are also ready to provide loans.
Campus Life
Field visit trips to realise the practical implications. We have sports day Named Udhkarsh. Inter MBA sports day meet. Institution and students collectively collects dress and toys for orphanages. For last 2 year institution and Mata Amritanandamayi Math collaboratively setup 24*7 Helpline center for Kerala Flood rescue mission.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is very good. Distance from hostel to campus is around 1KM. Facilities provided in hostel are very good. Basically for MBA college provide 2 sharing hostel. Big size room. 24*7 Electricity facility Night Canteen 24*7 high speed Wifi facility 24*7 water facility Etc.
Alumni/Alumna
They are very helpful for me. They provide enough opportunity, support and guidelines for us to shine in corporate culture. My sincere thanks to our Faculties for helping us in every situations. They are still providing vacancy data about firms.
Admission
I have appeared for MAT and I scored 550 then I applied for the MBA programme in Amrita. Amrita has 4 MBA campuses Coimbatore, Bangalore, Kochi, Amritapuri (Kollam). I got interview call from Amritapuri campus but my preference of campus was Coimbatore. Campus selection is done by the university only. If the MAT score is 600+ then you will get an interview call from the Coimbatore campus. I attended the interview and written test I got cleared.
Faculty
High rated facuties. Most of them are graduated from top institutions. Some of them have very good work experience in top organisations. So of them are Ph.d holders and some are Ph.d pursues. Also institution provides visiting faculty facility also
