Jayavarthanavelu, Past-Chairman of Lakshmi Machine Works Limited (LMW), Coimbatore as a unit of the GKD Charity Trust, Coimbatore. It is ranked 164 for MBA by India Today 2019. DJ Academy for Managerial Excellence Admission
Step 1: Collect the application form from the admission office or download it from the official website of the institute. Pay the application fee of INR 500.
Step 2: Shortlisted candidates will be called for GD and PI. A merit list would be drawn up based on the marks obtained by the candidates in their 10th, 12thand qualifying degree examinations, work experience (if any), the scores obtained by them in the Common Entrance Test and their performance in the interview. Candidates would be selected strictly on the basis of merit.
Step 3: The candidates who have cleared the selection process are eligible for admission. A time period is provided to the candidates within which they can reserve their seats by paying the prescribed fee.

The academy has an active Career Development Centre managed by a Placement Committee with a Faculty Coordinator and Corporate Relations Manager. The Placement Committee cell strives to bring recruiters and student aspirants together through campus interviews. It also helps students in finding organizations to complete their summer internships/ projects. The cell also lends a hand in securing short-term assignments for students in organizations. DJ Academy for Managerial Excellence Facilities
Library: The DJAME Library serves as a Learning Resources Centre catering to the intellectual requirements of the students, faculty, and researchers. It has computerized all its housekeeping activities using CMS software. The library has a rich collection of 12,034 volumes and 7,560 books.
Sports Centre: The institute lays emphasis on sports activities and physical fitness. The centre is well-equipped with all the requisite fitness equipment for developing and maintaining physical fitness, weight reduction and bodybuilding. The institute provides indoor and outdoor sports facilities to its students.
Cafeteria: The students are served South Indian and North Indian food during mess hours. The spacious dining hall can accommodate about 100 students at a time. The cafeteria has high-quality and healthy food serviced by Sodexo under hygienic conditions.
Hostel: The institute has separate furnished hostels for boys and girls. Each hostel has 77 rooms which can accommodate 144 students on a twin-sharing basis. The hostel is equipped with safe drinking water, solar water heaters, a kitchen, automated laundry, common room with a television facility.

On the whole there is no negative remarks to be given about the college. This academy was established with the main aim of helping students evolve into competent and socially responsible Business Managers. Now, DJAME is developed to enter its next level of excellence in academics, research and educational outreach. It is also a recognized Centre for pursuing the part-time M.Phil and Ph.D programmes of the Bharathiar University.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The Course Curriculum is just amazing in the college. It is well maintained and followed by both staffs and students in the college. The MBA programme is a two-year full time programme with each academic year being divided into two semesters. There are in total 16 required courses and 8 electives. The course curriculum carries a credit of four per course and, together with the project work which also carries a credit of four, the total number of credits to be earned by a student for the award of the MBA degree is one hundred.
Admission:
The college is very good when it comes to placement and job opportunities. It provides you with a good infrastructure and facilities with affordable fees too. It is also very strict of it's anti-ragging policies.
