Placement Experience

We have a placement wing that's very active and gives us information about various companies coming inn for campus placements. The placement is really good. Very reputed pharmaceutical companies come to our college for recruitment of students and most of the students of the college get placed.

College Events

There are many events celebrated in our college such as freshers, farewell day, graduation day, annual college fest, pharmacy week, international youth day, sports carnival, food festival where the students put up food stalls for selling.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The course Is for a period of 6 years. The fee structure is quite feasible and affordable considering that it's a medical field. The fees are: 1st year: Rs 85,000 2nd year to 6th year: Rs 75,000 per annum Total: Rs 4,60,000

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is available but only for the girls of the college and hostel is not made available for those who belong to the same city. Boys hostel is not there. The number of seats for hostel are also limited. The hostel is good. Food provided by the hostel is also really nice.

Admission

The criteria for admission in Pharm. D is a person should have passed B. Pharm and qualified GPAT or PGECET. I applied for GPAT and got qualified in the entrance exam. Then I got this college in the counseling process and went ahead for the admission procedure.

Faculty

The college offers really experienced and qualified faculty. Most of the faculty members have a doctorate degree and atleast 7-10 years of teaching experience. The teachers start with all basics so that we can have a clear understanding of the subjects.

My experience in a small private college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

pharmD is an integrated course, that gives medical and pharmaceutical knowledge, helps you to serve a larger role in the healthcare system, this motivated me to take the course. We often go to hospital rotations where we learn to collect several case reports of patients with their consent. We even do project works, assignments related to the diseases and medication. We work onthe drug intractions within the medications prescribed in the case report. The course seems to be versatile but it has it's own flaws. Like our college fsils to complete the course within time, don't follow almnac. The teaching methods should be improved focussing on the practical training ratger tgan being theortical. The exams should be fixed at a particular date and tge syllabus should be completed within that time preparining students to attempt with ease. The course and the syllabus mentioned in the course are dope and impressive but the implementation shouod be focussed by the individual colleges.
