- College classes: the classes are good with nice benches and boards.
- Faculty: the faculty is friendly with a high amount of knowledge.
- Neighborhood: the neighborhood has restros and shawarma shops which provide everything to have at lunch time.
Dislikes
- Lab chemicals are mostly expired which makes the experiments fail.
- Lack of fans makes the classroom very hot making the students uneasy
- You have to work hard for internal marks and has to please the lectures.
Course Curriculum Overview
Exams are generally carried out with understanding of students approach towards it. They divide the students into morning and afternoon batch based on classes. Exam syllabus is kinda difficult which makes the students stressed out more.
Internships Opportunities
Internship will be done in the respective hospital affiliated to the college which is kingkoti govt hospital. As of now no stipend is given but there will be given from next year i guess. Projects on selected topics have to be made by everyone by researching it in different hospitals. It gives us more clarity on the course.
Fees and Financial Aid
Complete Scholarship is through EAMCET exam, which govt pays for the 6 years course, and for one year it is 80k. And there is central Scholarship for management students for which a Scholarship of 40k will be paid by govt. Other costs which a Scholarship student has to pay will be of exam fees i.e, 1500 per exam yearly. Scholarship application fees 500. Books and records 1000 min. Service fees 500. No stipend is till now given for internship and the job includes patient counselling, drug marketing, drug manufacturing, drug adverse effects countering. Etc.
Campus Life
The campus life is much better then expected, we host freshers, farewells, annual days, sports week, go on trips to various educational events in other universities, go to education counseling abroad trip makers, involve in other fests by other colleges, organise intersports events, celebrate pharmacy week, and much more.
Admission
My admission was based on my EAMCET rank which was 10 thousand. So i got my seat here in this college. I just had to pay the university fees and exams fees. As i was OBC i easily got a seat in the reservation quota. To get admission in this college you have to avail good rank in eamcet or pay 5-10 lakhs as donation for management.
Faculty
They teachers are somewhat understandable, some of them are crooked as well. The HODs are very kind. They help you through the project processes, seminars, presentations and push us to the next limits.
