Remarks

It is a good college. But definitely needs improvements in lots of different departments,so that they can provide the best education possible to the upcoming students. The departments in the college needs positive people to make positive changes.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

Obviously i can only tell you about the English honours curriculum. It's actually quite good and big.But they can improve the syllabus for example they can add more Indian literature. As for the exam structure, it's quite hectic. We have total eighth honours papers in three years each for 100 marks. Two papers each 1st and 2nd year and four papers in the 3rd year. Also two Compulsory papers in the 1st year and two more papers each 1st and 2nd year on two subjects of ours select.

Placement Experience

0.5

None at all, our college doesn't provide any job opportunities. Our college doesn't provide any internship. They need improvements on that front as well. The government gives some stipend depending on your cast.

College Events

1

Our college celebrate three or four events every year. First thre Nobin Boron - it's a celebration for the new enrolled students, to welcome them. Then a social and cultural celebration that happens every year. Then the Saraswati pujo happens every year, Other than that some seminars here and there for Various departments,Nothing more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is actually pretty feasible. It's within our reach. But the college takes money in the name of unnecessary things. The college Administration needs improvements in lots of aspects.so they should work on that.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no scholarship available in our college. Our college also does not provide any loan facilities whatsoever. Some scholarships are provided by the government but not from college. They obviously need improvements.

Campus Life

2

There isn't enough Extracurricular activities available in the college. They have Gymnasium. There isn't enough labs. They also needs more focus on sports. There isn't enough sports going on on the college campus.

Hostel Facilities

1

There is no hostel available in our college. It's a really small college. There should be hostel. Our college definitely needs lots of improvements in lots of aspects including hostels facilities and some others.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are good. They are kind of helpful. You can contact them if you have any questions about anything. They are very happy to help with anything. They are very helpful for new students.

Admission

After 12th standard you need to fill up applications for college. Then comes the merit list. The merit list depends on your marks in the 12th standard and the number of seats available on the particular course you applied.

Faculty

1.5

Faculty is not good at all. They need improvements. They need more good teachers. Only one permanent teacher isn't good enough to complete the amount of syllabus we are given. Also Attendance needs to be Mandatory.

I want to know bengali literature and all type of poems and proses that's why I choose B.a. in bengali literature. According to me, my course helps me in doing Masters in Bengali. From the point of view of improvements, I feel that digital classes can be conducted in the class by leaving the theory classes. Mere collage The exam level is basically hard and exams are conducted twice a year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always wanted to persue English as a career. I love studying English but not a big fan of the new curriculum by NEP that includes a lot pf irrelevant papers. The semesters are not consistent. Odd semesters usually have a lot of time like 6-8 months but even semesters barely consist of 2-3 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We were held a class for upto 1hrs, thus we had 4 class a day. Sometimes it is boaring sometimes it becomes striking, it depends on the mood. It is to say little knowledge is a dangerous thing, if you don't read you cannot pass the semester examination. Although it will provide you a second chance. But with change of syllabus the exam pattern also change. You need to attain a total percentage of 75(%) to maintain you honours subject otherwise you would be regarded as programme course student.
