Remarks

Considering all the aspect it is good for engineering. You will get ample of opportunities to brush up your knowledge, faculties are average but few of them are very good and can help in studies, just they want the students to roam around them, and they consider the college as school only.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is not upto the mark the management is using the same old fashioned curriculum which involve basic outdated programming language and they change the curriculum proposed earlier on their needs. Talking about the exam, they conduct exam in every 2 weeks, there are 3 CT’s( also called mis semester) and some surprise test, which makes it very hectic for the student, even the rush to complete the syllabus due to which they left out some important concept.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement & job opportunities are fantastic student get ample of opportunity to choose from their desired field, some of the company provide internship too the stipend ranges from 10000-25000 per month.

College Events

1

When i came in my 2nd year of engineering the college started conducting one event which is TEXUS. The event is pretty good, it consist of technical as well as non technical event, student get enough opportunity to learn new skills.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is expensive, when i took admission the education fee was around 195000 but now i guess it is around 250000. And apart from this this the hostel with food cost around 130000 in which the hostel is non-ac and without attached washrooms, and for attached washroom the hostel with food cost will be around 160000, and with ac it will be around 200000, and apart from this there is books fee of 15000 per year which is compulsory for all and those books are useless, and one VAC(value added course) fee of 15000-20000 per year which is also compulsory which is of no use.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college says that they will provide scholarships for top 3 student but they never gave this to anyone. This is a deemed university and it has 5 campus so when asking about scholarship they say the top 3 student will be choosen combined from all the 5 campus but when someone will ask for the ranking or scholarship they say you are not eligible.

Campus Life

2

The gender ratio is pretty good it is around 60:40, you can find people from different religion, states living together which helps is learning more effectively. Labs are average. The campus just has 2 basketball court and every sports like food, badminton, cricket are being played on this 2 courts so there is no scope for sports.

Hostel Facilities

1

Hostel is very bad, they dont provide good wifi connection too, and the network coverage of mobile networks is very poor. The food provided in hostel mess is very bad. The total hostel charges including food is around 130000 per year.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful and they helps the juniors in every aspects. Our seniors used to boost up our morale when we were feeling low. They help us in or curricular and co-corricular activities. There is no as such senior-junior thing in the campus.

Admission

I gave exam and i wanted to take admission in the main campus which is in kattankulathur but my rank was low and i wanted to take CSE branch only so choose this one. And i choose because the main campus says both the college are same there is no difference in both the campus and placement is similar in both the campuses.

Faculty

2.5

Here the whole faculty is getting changed every year so not much of qualified faculty stay here. There are few who are good but most of the faculty is below average. Some faculties are very good but overall there is no international level faculty which the mention at the time of admission all the faculties here have taken there degree from local universities like anna university, so they have problem in communication while teaching in english.

As for placements, the students are eligible from the beginning of third year (5th semester). The average package is 6LPA and the highest is 30LPA. 90% of the students gets placed in our college each year. I'm confident that before getting my degree I'll get placed so after getting my degree I'll jiust continue to work for a year and after that i have many other plans which isn't related any of the IT department or software.

Placement Experience:

Placements were too good in DACE. They also provide training for students who opt for higher studies or civil service exams. For higher studies, they give gate training. For the civil service exam, they give specific training for students to join government jobs. Other than this very good MNC companies with high packages will come to DACE for recruitment.
