my opinion is neutral i wont say any negative or positive comment no college is good or bad its all about the caliber of students if try hard enough obviously they will achieve what they wanna achieve
Course Curriculum Overview
this college offers bachelor of engineering( B.E.) not bachelor in technology ( Btech). As per most of the college present in bengaluru it is also registered with VTU now speaking about VTU as per my opinion its the worst university all they think about how to make money they will fail you in your exam which will tend you to fill revaluation form and after revaluation you will pass with good number or just pass
Placement Experience
very few great companies visit the campus for placement and job opportunities college mainly arrange pool campus drive for the students which obviously will be lot more challenging to the students as the competition among the candidates will be high. no college dont provide any intership you have to find out on your own some might give you stipend or some will charge to money to give you training.
College Events
our college fest’s name is VISMAY but they majorly call the kannada artist for the performance due to which north indian crowd feels to be left out . during vismay they might arrange some other programmes like fashion show bike stunt drag race ethnic day etc etc last year while cricket world cup they arranged a stopover of the official cricket world cup trophy to be show in the campus for the student as the part of nissan kicks cwc trouphy tour in world
Fee Structure And Facilities
well when i took admission in dbit the fee structure was around 161000 per year as per comedk norms for Kcet norms it varied from 20000-80000 and the management fees was around 180000 around 2015 when we passed out it was around 180000 for comedk n 230000 for management
Fees and Financial Aid
no college didnt provide any loan or scholarship to the student if you are in need of loan you have to contact the BANK for education loan though college do follow some rules of karnataka govt for those student who took admission through kcet and belongs to st/sc they provide about 80% refund i guess and same goes with armed forces brats
Campus Life
about extracurricular activities they organised inter vtu college tournaments of volley ball basket ball cricket and many more about the labs the system are running in old configuration like windows 32bit OS they do have lots of system for the lab operation keyboard are the worst in lab the keys are very stiff one have to press really hard
Alumni/Alumna
well it all about how big your network was in your college and if u wanna be in touched with your seniors or your batchmates or not whomever i had met they were helpful in guiding you in your career but like as i remember college do arrange alumi meetup also but as we saw they didnt invite even a single northie student
Admission
well i got selected through comed-k and i went through the counselling process . this college accepts JEE marks , Comed-k marks , k-cet(for karnataka students only) . as i got selected from comed-k all you have to do is enroll for comedk give the exam and on the particular day according to your rank you have to choose the college
Faculty
well overall teachers present here are good some so do show attitude some teachers have great knowledge and some simply teach whatever they had recited for the class if you ask something out of the box they will get stall
