My college has given me a lifelong experience and has taught me a way of life and also how to survive in this cruel world and also the fact that if there are bad people around you then there are good as well.

We have 3 cycle tests(mid-sems) cycle test - 1, cycle test - 2, and cycle test - 3, the first cycle test consists of 10 marks and the rest 2 are for 15 marks each. This comprises 40 marks and the rest 10 marks are for surprise tests and assignments. So, our internals comprises 50 marks and 50 marks are for externals which are end semester exams.

When it comes to branches like IT, cse, and software the placement opportunities go up to almost 100 percent, and all the students get recruited either by mass recruiters or by the core companies. So, SRM is good when it comes to job opportunities.

There are several events that take place but the 2 main events are AARUUSH, which is the technical fest of SRM and it is considered as one of the top national level technical fests, and the other one is the cultural fest which is called MILAN which ranks on number 7 in India.

Since SRM is one of the top private colleges in the country, the fees are quite expensive and when we include hostel and mess fees, it adds up to quite too much, for branches like cse, IT and ece the annual fees is 3.5 lacs.

Since it is a private college, I don't think that our college offers loan facilities but yes when it comes to scholarships they provide 100 percent scholarships to the rank holders and then it goes down according to rank.

Walking and cycling are the most amazing ways to get around the campus, and when the sports are concerned there are various sports. The lab infrastructure in SRM is great with world-class well-equipped labs.

Yes, I have opted for a hostel facility hostel is just like a regular hostel if you go for some domestic hostel, but there are options for international and NRI Hostels as well. Which have better facilities.

Yes, I have got all the information through one of my seniors and she only told me about how great SRM is as a college, I mean overall SRM has given me a lifelong experience to share. And yes most importantly SRM has a ragging-free campus.

I gave an entrance test called SRMJEEE, after my 12th grade, and when the result was declared my rank was pretty much decent and then I took admission through online counseling. Which was the second round of counseling after on-campus counseling.

I think the faculties in our college are qualified enough, there is no faculty that hasn't done doctorate in their respective fields, some faculties are really liberal towards students and some are really strict.
