Remarks

College management were neutral. Some were good some were bad but in all they did not create any serious trouble during my time.Good things are Scholarship Opportunities Personal and professional growth PlacementsInteract with new people In frastructure F

Entrance Preview

I gave Amity interview and written exam. Admission process was quite simple. 1 admission form then Written test Interview After few days got the invitation offer for joining course

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum is globally recognized and accepted. Similar to the level of NITs. 3 or 6 months industrial training and 2 month project curriculum consisted of different electives like i study Automata Compiler Electrical science Engineering drawing Engineering mechanics Software Digital computer and networks Advance networking Heuristics Foreign language Behavioral science.

Internships Opportunities

I did it outside so don't have the idea about internship. But they do have 3 continent Programme tie up with purdue university.

Placement Experience

2

Placements were good. This is the key areas where Amity is focusing every day. Accenture, wipro, satyam, dell, nec hcl, hcl, grape city, niit etc cameAverage package was 3.5-4.5 lac. In my last year, Google, tech mahindra, yahoo, fiserv, syntel came to our campus. There were around 20 companies that came to my college. This number could be high if 2009 was not a recession hit year.

College Events

2.5

Evey year they celebrate cultural, technical, sports meet. Sangathan is a intra Amity sports meet. A student can take part in any sports. Almost all types of sports are played. Gaming, hackathon, algorithms, models comes under technical fest. Singing, dancing, acting, comparing, art etc comes under cultural festival.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was feasible at my time but it is too expensive now. I spend 4 lac for 4 years but now it is around 9+ lac for 4 year. Hostels are categorised in different categories like ac non ac, dormitory. There are around 6-7 hostel building with 10-12 floor each with a capacity of keeping 10000 students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Yeah they offered 50% scholarship on the basis of class 12 marks. Above 85% will get 50%, above 90% will get full scholarship for 1 year. Student has to perform well and has to be in top 15% rank to continue the scholarship.

Campus Life

2.5

Gender ratio was 50:50. Student parties were organised like fresher, farewells etc. Student from across the world used to come to study here. Different competitions were organised like sports, robotics, cultural, gaming, quiz, coding etc. A small panel was created to take care of group discussion, interview, extempore skills of students before and after placement.

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel facility was good. Mess was a mess in early years i.e for 2.5yrs then they opened up different food chains like dominos, food bazaar etc. There were lot of options in final year. Hostels used to have dormitory system in initial year then after that

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were helpful in providing guidance, helping with notes, books. For the first year i was a part if alumni but then i am not in touch currently.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is half yearly. 8 semester.they have GPA GRADE POINT ASSESSMENT system. They have generally 3 sections in the paper comprises of 30,20,10 marks. 5 marks for attendance, 10-15 marks for assignments 20 marks for 2 test. 35 is the scoring mark

Faculty

1.5

When i joined faculty was good. Over the period of time, it's got reduced in termsof their interest. Some of the faculty was under qualified. They were just passed out from mca or m.tech Some of the faculty was really good. Courses like maths, electrical

Campus placement is not that good. Hardly 2-3 companies come here for foodtech. But there are job opportunities for this course. It is a growing field. Outside the campus, if applied in any company, there are chances of selection based on the skills and knowledge one has related to the field
