Remarks
Lastly, I would say that today there are number of engineering colleges in India and about millions of engineers pass out every year but only qualified engineer get jobs or do further studies. Remaining are like waste coming out of a funnel after separati
Entrance Preview
In 2008, I took 4-5 entrance exams which include IIT JEE, WB JEE, AIEEE, PET etc. Since my preparation was not so good, it affected my scores too. But I had to go for engineering in that year as I was a dropper in Class 12.
Internships Opportunities
No, college doesn't provide any internship. Companies come here only to recruit for full time working.
Placement Experience
The placements in the previous two years have showed quiet good results. In the year before placements were not so much notable. However, records are improving. Companies visiting are like Wipro, TCS, Infosys etc and also some private sector companies. Average salaries range between 3 to 4 lakhs a year with the highest reaching up to 4.5 lakh.
College Events
In the monotonous life of a student,
Fees and Financial Aid
No, no scholarship or loan is provided by our college in any field. It is a private college, so it is also quiet difficult for them too to provide scholarship every year.
Campus Life
Gender ratio was not an issue at any time. Students get selected as per their ranks and scores not as per gender. Campus life was great literally. We did parties every third weekend wherever possible as per our budget. Cultural society is quiet good. College provides buses and any other facilities which it can give. Every year faculties from IITs or NITs come here to conduct 10-12 days of workshop of robotics. Inter college sports are also done here every year. No discrimination are there on any basis - gender, religion, race etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel/mess facilities are pretty decent here. There are 3-4 hostels for boys, 2-3 hostels for girls separately. It's shared accommodation but rooms are big enough for 3 people. 4th year students only get single accommodation.Hall is mandatory except for
Alumni/Alumna
As I already said, we were the first batch here; so no seniors were there. But our class mates were good. Some are still in touch with me. Some were gone abroad for higher studies, some are working in private sectors. But our juniors were very good and helpful. They gave respect every time, infact outside the campus whenever we were in need, they helped in their own way.
Faculty
Faculties are good, not very professional or experienced. Even 2-3 teachers are there who were pass outs of last year. So you can imagine how good is academics here. So teaching here is to focus on passing the semester exams and to get into a good job.
